~ Phil's POV ~

I run over to Dan, who's facing a tree with some girl. As I get closer, I notice he's holding her by the waist.

Judging by their flushed faces, frozen in shock, rapid breathing, and intertwined legs, they must've tripped into the bark. I chuckle. This time, Dan's the one who tripped and fell.

I notice a girl about the same age as the one Dan's holding running towards them, the sun glinting off her glasses.

Coming after is John. I frown, confused. What is John doing here? I nod at him, and he nods back, walking slowly and licking the melting ice cream off a cone.

The girl with glasses runs up to Dan and the other girl. I catch up just as she says to the other girl, "there you were! We were looking for you! Hey, why'd you leave the table?" She completely ignores Dan, instead leaning her face into the other girl's.

"Stella," the girl in Dan's arms gulps, "meet Dan Howell. And apparently Phil Lester too," she says, noticing me.

Stella's eyes widen, and she turns around to face me and squeals, her green eyes sparkling with excitement. I smile at her and say hello, and she rushes over and hugs me. I hug her back, chuckling softly. I am surprised to find that I'm not as exhausted as I usually am when meeting phans.

She pulls away and skips over to Dan and takes a peek at his face. She pulls back and starts jumping up and down. "OHMIGOSHYOUGUYSAREACTUALLYREALANDIGOTTOMEETYOU!!!!" She screams excitedly.

Dan, of course, is still shocked and he doesn't move, only staring, eyes wide. I smile at Stella. "Yes, it turns out we aren't just robots placed by the government just to spy on you," I say. She laughs and says, "I just didn't think I'd actually like get to meet you on the streets!"

"Well, to be honest I didn't ever think meeting me and Dan was something special. We're just ordinary humans," I say, "speaking of which, has Danny come out of his coma yet?" I walk over to him. "Snap out of it!" I yell, waving my arms at Dan, "stop cuddling with your girlfriend!"

Dan's face, as expected, goes beet red, as does the girl's, before they untangle themselves.

"She-she's not my girlfriend. We just met!" I notice, however, his hand goes to the back of his neck, and he bites his lip. His arm lingers by the girl's shoulders before dropping away reluctantly.

I extend my hand to the girl. "I guess you already know my name, but what's yours?"

"Oh! My name's Y/N," she says, playing with the hem of her shirt. She clasps my hand with her own. She looks stunned as she shakes my hand, as if she still can't quite believe I'm real.

"I see you two have been getting along quite well," I say, smirking. As anyone could predict, both Dan and Y/N blush a deep shade of pink. Their eyes flick to each other, meeting for a second but then immediately shifting away.

The awkward mood is broken by John. He's finally caught up to us, and he finishes his ice cream cone, popping the rest into his mouth. "I see you guys have met Dan and Phil," he says to Stella and Y/N.

Stella's mouth drops open in shock as she looks from John to me to Dan and back to John again. "YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU KNEW DAN AND PHIL."

"I mean we just met a couple weeks ago. We sometimes see each other at Starbucks. This is my crazy sister Stella, by the way, and her friend Y/N. They're visiting me right now," he says to me.

Stella punches him in the arm. "And you've known them for TWO WEEKS and you didn't TELL ME?!"

He smiles an innocent smile, but anyone can spot the mischievous glint in his eyes. "Do I have to tell you every time I meet someone?" He asks, pretending to be clueless.
