The end

I took a deep breath...
"I'm sorry but I've made my mind and Alex is a great guy. I've waited enough for you to recognize me."

"ENOUGH" he shouted..
He stood up came close to me and held my wrist tightly. I gasped and started shaking from nervousness.

Then he whispered in my ear
"If you are really over me and you don't care anymore than you wouldn't have reacted like this when i touched you. I know that you still have a crush on me so I'll tell one thing and let it sink in.. if you get engaged to this guy I'll turn your life and his into hell... Am I clear?"

I was speechless.. Why is life so unfair?? When i finally decided to carry-on he wanted me..

"I said am i clear??" He repeated after i blanked out..

"Yes.."

"You have one day and by one i mean ONE day if i didn't receive an apology letter saying that the engagement was cancelled don't blame me.."

And he left

Now what??

After few hours i received a call from Alex
"Hi Sofia are you ok??"
How did he know??
"Yeah I'm fine. Why what's wrong?"
"A brick was thrown into my house through the window. It has been labeled: Just a warning for messing with what's mine. STAY AWAY FROM HER."
"I'm soo sorryyy are you ok??" I said
"Yeah I'm fine.."
"Hey Alex... we need to talk can you come over??"
"Sure.. I'll be there in 5 minutes.."

Alex came as fast as he could. He looked worried as if he knew what was going to happen..
"Jack payed me a visit today.." i spoke
"Your boss/crush?"
"Yes, he said that if i got engaged to you he'll turn our life to hell"

"I really don't care let him do whatever he wish as long as we're together.. I mean where was he when you had a crush on him??"

"I know i told him that but.."
What can i say?? I really don'thave any excuse for forgiving him. AlthoughI didn't totally forgive him but if i got engaged to Alex i will never be happy.

"Hey look at me." He said in a sweet voice..

"If you still love him you can tell me and I'll understand.. I will admit my failure in helping you forget him. But i really hope that you don't allow him to use you."

"I definitely won't allow that but if we got engaged non of us will be happy..
He'll make sure that we're not happy and he won't be too... You deserve better than this. A girl who loves you back.. You are really a great man. But my heart was stolen by another."

"I totally understand.. But i hope that we'll stay in touch."

"Sure you'll still be my friend" i told him.. he looked so  sad..
I know that the friend zone is the worst but he'll find the right girl someday..

The next thing I should do is call the office and tell them that my engagement is cancelled..

Thankfully i didn't have to speak with Jack i just told the guy who answered to inform him about the party but i made it clear that i still wanted to quit..

The next day i received a phone call saying that Mr Wood needs to meet me in his office..

I went there nervously...
What does he want now??
After i entered he stood from his chair and came close to me.
I backed up until my back hit the wall
He was so close to me... I wanted to push him away but there's something inside me preventing that..
He looked at me with eyes filled with passion love and lust..
Then his eyes went down to my lips and we kissed.
"Officially mine.. "
