"Anna it is time for dinner," my father yelled up the stairs.

"I already ate and I'm definitely not eating with you," I hissed back at him. Again I heard him curse at me in Japanese.

I grabbed my camera and slowly crept out of the window. My feet led me to a nearby park, the best place to take pictures.

click, click.

"So your dad...he hates me," said a voice closely resembling Michael's.

And when I turned, I found him, towering above me, complection glowing, eyes reading sadness.

"Oh, please don't get worked up over that."

"But your my friend and..."

I immediately cut him off, "Mike, chill he's completely irrelevant. Just me and you kiddo."

A smiled curled up on his face.

"Good."

The entire evening was spent in the park: cart wheels, cloud watching, picture taking, ect. We did it all, but the entire time I couldn't help but think about what my dad said. "He no welcome here."

Micheal walked me home and made sure that he didn't step inside this time.

"See you tomorrow, Mike?"

"Of course," he smiled and softly pecked my cheek.

My eyes watched as he walked down my driveway. A smile was tattoed on my face. I turned to the door, inserted the key and twisted the knob.

"Where have you been?" asked my dad, anger dripping from every word.
