In mystic messenger, you're basically planning a party while dating someone. Part of the party planning is inviting guests then replying to emails. If you want to get a good ending, then you HAVE to have 10+ guests coming to the party. If you don't have 10+ guests but have been nice to everyone in chat, then you're most likely to get a normal ending. This is what happened to me the first time I played MM because I wanted 'independence' rather than relying on the Internet for the right email replies.
When you get an email and have to reply, you're given two options: a right response and a wrong response. For each guest, you reply to their emails three times. For them to come to the party, you have to respond correctly at least twice. And if you're just replying with what you think is the right answer, you're probably answering wrong. This is why I highly recommend searching 'mystic messenger correct email replies' into Google and keeping the web page open while you're playing MM unless you want to get the normal ending, which isn't worth it at all if you ask me.
