All Ends with Beginnings

The Surprise

*Later that night*

Mitch is finally going back to the hotel with Scott and the others.

Due to hospital rules, he isn't allowed to walk out of the hospital, so Scott, being the perfect boyfriend he is, pushes his love to the car they had Kevin go get while they waited to get the okay to leave.

Kirstie and Avi walk behind Scott and Mitch while Kevin waits in the car.

Kirstie: They're so cute!

Avi smiles and nods while looking at them.

Avi: Yeah, they are.

Kirstie: Scott's never been happier than when he's with Mitch.

Avi nods agreeing.

Kirstie: Same with Mitch too.

They watch as Scott carefully helps Mitch in the car. After a little bit, Kavi gets in too.

Kevin sits in front and drives, Avi sits beside him, while Kirstie sits in the back with Scomiche.

The whole ride home, Scott and Mitch are cuddled up together and stay quiet.

Scott, now feeling much better knowing his love is perfectly fine now and able to go home, suddenly gets huge butterflies in his stomach remembering what he has to do when they get to the hotel.

When they get to the hotel, Avi and Kevin take Mitch to the gift shop to get a snack while Kirstie takes Scott to his room to prepare for the proposal.

*In Scott's room*

Kirstie: Are you ready?

Scott begins to panic and return being scared.

Scott: Where's Wyatt?!

He panics, breathing hard and fast.

Esther gives him his cat.

Esther: He's right here, Scott. Calm down.

He takes Wyatt and cuddles him.

Kirstie gives him the ring.

His hand shakes as he takes it.

Kirstie: Scott..

She says staring into his eyes.

He just stares back.

Kirstie: It will be okay.

Scott takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and nods.

He then fastens the ring back on the collar for what he hopes to be the final time, and they all leave Scott and Mitch's room to wait for Mitch to return.

While they wait, Esther and Scott play with Wyatt in Avi's room to calm him down while Kirstie keeps watch for Mitch to go in he and Scott's room.

Esther: Wyatt, come here!

She smiles and teases him with a toy she bought him.

Scott chuckles watching them play.

After a few minutes of waiting, Mitch makes his way to the room he shares with Scott. Avi and Kevin go to Avis's room to tell them it's time.

Avi: It's time..

He says in his deep low bass voice as he and Kevin walk through the door.

Scott's eyes widen and his heart pounds rapidly.

Scott: Oh god...

Avi: You can do this man.

He says helping Scott up and taking Wyatt.
