1 Month Later

Its been a month since Agnes met her mate and I find it cute how she smiles every time she gets a text from him or when they're talking on the phone and she blushes when they say I love you to each other. Grayson still doesn't know which is why she spends most of the day in my room.
I walk into the baby's room and look over it. I run my hand over the crib and grab a book from the bookshelf, then I sit down on the rocking chair and swing myself back and forth. I open the book and start reading while rubbing my stomach.
After reading for a while I hear a knock on the door and I look up. Grayson opens the door slightly and steps inside, closing the door behind him. He comes over to me and kisses me.

"What are you doing?"

"I was reading him a book."

"Hmm...how are you feeling about..."

"Giving birth?"

"Yeah."

"Honestly, I'm terrified. Any day now I'm going to be pushing a body out of me. I want to know how...our son will look like."

"Kennedy I already told you I will raise this kid as my own. You don't have to hesitate when you say he's our son."

"I know. It's just...what if he gets some of his features?"

"Don't worry about that."

"You're right. Actually can I go out with Agnes to the park. We won't take long. I just want to ease my nerves and get my mind off all of this."

He hesitantly nods and I kiss him before going to get dressed in a maxi dress and sandals. I go downstairs in search of Agnes and I find her in the kitchen munching on a bag of chips. I roll me eyes and take the bag away from her.

"Come on. Your brother gave us permission to go to the park."

"Really? Is it okay if-"

"Go ahead."

She grins and goes off to get ready and probably tell her mate about our plans. I sit down and start munching on the bag of chips I took from Agnes. When she comes back she has a romper on with sandals and her hair is in loose waves. I set the bag of chips down and give her a thumbs up. I go wash my hands and then we go outside to her car.

"So where is he going to meet us at?"

"At the park."

She drives and fifteen minutes later we're at the park. Just like last time she helps me out and we start walking along the path. We walk slowly and I start feeling something weird but choose to ignore it. We keep walking for a while but the feeling won't go away so I point towards a bench and we sit down.

"Agnes I'm not feeling well."

"Shit. Should we go back home or-"

"No it's okay. I want to meet Nathan."

"Are you sure? I can cancel if you're-"

"I said I'm fine."

She nods but keeps an eye on me. She starts looking around and I see her smile for a second as she sets her eyes on someone. I look in the direction she's looking at and see a good looking guy coming out way. She gets up and kisses the guy before entwining their hands together. I look up at the guy and smile, I make a move to get up but he stretched his hand out.

"No, it's okay. I think it's better if you stay seated."

"Nonsense. I'm perfectly fine and can get up. Nothing will happen to me."

"Kennedy I think it's best if you- okay then get up."

I stand up and introduce myself to Nathan. As I'm about to say something about Agnes I feel something wet trickling down my leg. I frown and excuse myself,
