Afraid to Love.

Ch.3

When I walked into the house and it smelled like disinfectant. Philip has been cleaning, I run up the stairs and went to check on my mom. I knocked on the door before going in to greet her.

"Mom" I announced. I walk into the room to find her asleep. Tiptoeing over to her and kiss her temple, and covered her up. Leaving the room and walk towards mine. Opening the door I through myself onto my bed. The front door opens and shuts. It had to be one of my brothers coming home I thought. Sure enough Alec came up the stairs and opened the door to my room.
"I heard you and the Demon Twins got into it" he says while sitting in the desk chair.
" It's none of your business, Alec" I snarled.
"It'd be a shame if mother hears about it" Alec calmly spoke. I got up and opened the door.
"Get out" I furiously spoke. He gets up and strolls out of the room. I slam the door shut and lock it so no one will bother me. Plugging in my headphones, I pick a song randomly for my playlist. I thought maybe I should write Lucien another letter apologizing to him. But I watched as he didn't bother to read the other one, and just rips it to shreds. For a minute my heart ached from the memory of it. Turning up the volume I fall into a deep sleep.

~Time skip to school cause I'm lazy~

I walk into the school to find Lucien by his locker. He has deep bags and looks pale. I want to go over and ask if he's alright, but the Demon Twins walk up to him. I scowl and walk away, I feel something grab onto me. I look down to find Kylee holding onto my arm.

"So did you think about going out with me" she asked.
"Leave me alone" I snarled at her. Shaking her arm off me, I walk way. I need to find out more on the "Demon Twins." I hear Kylee huff and walk away saying something.

Soon I find myself following behind Ghost. The tall one with violet hair. Someone I knew stopped me to talk.

"Hey Dimitri. Can i-" he started.
"Sorry I'm busy." I say and started walking again. "Crap..where did..." I had lost track of Ghost.
"Looking for me?" A girl scares me. I jump around too see Ghost.
"Wait how the?" I stare at her then shakes my head.
"They call me Ghost for a reason you know, and I hear you wanna find info on me and my twin" She smirks and turns on her heel.
"U-uh yeah I do, actually" I stated.
"Well then, I'm guessing you want to find some dirt on us... good luck finding any" she chuckled out while walking away.

Skipping forth block so I can go to the library for research. Would there be any results from the library about them? Well let's see. The librarian asks if I needed help but I declined, then went to the year books. Maybe I could find something in one of these books. Picking up a stack I begin to search for them. It felt like hours of searching without any success. Only 30 minutes left till we can go home. I put all the yearbooks back in their place. I make my way to the computers and search their names separately. The first thing that pulled up is Astra's (Psycho) all kinds of fundraisers pull up. I went to see if there was anything I can find that would could be used as blackmail but nothing pulled up. Sighing and looking at my phone to see what time it is 12 minuets left then I can leave. I tried to search Maddy's name the only thing that would pull up is that she was that she won the spelling bee back at middle school. It didn't say which school it was, so I gave up. Signing out of the schools computer and pushing the chair back under the table, I jog out towards my car. Looking up I see the back of Lucien's head. He turns towards to face me and terror shot through him. He looked paler than he did this morning. He took a quick dash towards his car unlocking it and jumping in. He started it and jumped when the loud music played. Giggling at how he jumped from it. He turns it down and drives away. Getting into my own car I plug my phone into the Aux cord waiting for Playdora to load. The first song that came on was Chalked Outline by Three Days Grace. Signing along with the song I drive to my little sisters daycare. Philip picked her yesterday, so today is my turn to go and pick her up. Pulling into the daycare I walk in to sign out Amber. We start to walk out and she holds my hand. Looking down I smile at her. When I look up I see a familiar car drive by. Watching it pull into a driveway I watch as the teenaged boy steps out with coffee in one hand and a prescription in the other. That boy was Lucien, hold the medicine under his chin he pulls out a set of keys and opens the door. Lucien walks in. Amber shook me out of my thought by pulling on my hand.

"What's wrongs brother" she chirped.
"Nothing, why do you ask" I asked puzzled.
"You were staring at the boy that lives across the street" Amber explained.
"Oh, he goes to my school" I answer sheepishly.
"Okay" she cheered.
She hops into the backseat without another word. Making her she had her seatbelt on, I get into the drivers. The way home was quite and peaceful since Amber fell asleep on the way home. Carrying her out of the car was no big deal but up the stair was a problem. I felt like was going to drop her or fall with her in my arms. That would be bad. We made it up the stairs and I place her in her own bed. Leaving the door cracked, I checked in on mom. She had the family album out again. Seeing that she was okay. I go to my own room to take a nap.
