"Hes not that bad"?

I love hugging the boys, they always make me feel so safe. As I let go of Grayson I notice Ethan staring at us.

"What E-tee-wee-tee? Jealous?" I ask him while smirking.

"Oh yeah so jealous" he says sarcastically.
We all laugh and then Grayson grabs my hand and takes me to the couch. Me and him sit down and turn on the tv and try to find a decent movie to watch. A little while later Ethan brings us than pancakes and joins us on the couch. It was just me and my boys sitting there doing what we always did, hanging out. About an hour later the boys get up.

"Oh shoot Gray, we gotta film!" Ethan says panicked.

"What day is it?" Grayson asks.

"Friday.. why?" I reply.

"Oh shoot we do!" Grayson says getting up.

"But why does it matter if it's Friday?" I ask

"Because we post on Tuesday's and usually we would film on Saturday or Sunday and edit Monday but we have our birthday party" Grayson says while rushing around with Ethan. They were trying to clean up for the video.

"Shit" I say louder than I was supposed to.

"You forgot" Ethan says stopping what he was doing and looking at me with wide eyes.

"She forgot" Grayson chimes in and does the same.

"No I didn-"

"YOU FORGOT!" They both yell and point at me. I sorta kinda forgot it was their birthday next week. I must've been so caught up with Luke and finals that I just forgot, but I couldn't let them know that.

"No I didn't. I know your guys's birthdays were next week" I say laughing trying to make them believe me.

"Yeah sure, hot stuff" Ethan says sarcastically. The boys both walk up stairs and I follow. I loved watching them film, it was always so amusing.

"What your guys's video about this week?" I asked them

"We are doing the ice bath challenge." Ethan says excitedly

"The what?" I laugh.

"The ice bath challenge / torture video ... we are gonna sit in a tub, drink a slurpie, do a spelling be, then get a cookie from our forehead to our mouth." Grayson says.

"Sounds.... fun?" I say not really knowing what to say.

"Yeah, soooo much fun" Grayson says sarcastically.

"Hey do you wanna be in it brooke?" Ethan asks.

"I'd love too but I have to get ready and go meet Luke at Starbucks." I say smiling. Grayson just rolled his eyes at me. I know he doesn't like Luke but why? He's not that bad.

"Alright we'll have fun, be safe, and GET IT BROOKIE COOKIE!!" Ethan yelled. I walked up to him and punched him in the shoulder. That name. He laughed and finished setting up.

"Alright well I'm gonna go boys. Thanks for taking care of me today. I'll call you guys after Starbucks." I say while leaving.

"Wait! I'll walk you to your house." Grayson says.

"No you don't have to Gray. It's fine." I say stopping at his door.

"Brooke stop. Let me walk you." He insists.

"Fine." I say rolling my eyes.

As we walk to my house I could tell Grayson was kinda worried.

"Whats up Gray?" I ask

"Nothing" He says. I know him better than that. Something is wrong and I want to know what.

"GRAYSON DOLAN" I say sternly and grab his hand so he faces me. "What is wrong?"

"Listen... are you sure Luke is right for you? Do you really want to be with him?" He asked worried.

"Gray I really like him and I think he likes me too and I think he would be an amazing boyfriend. You don't need to worry Gray." I say hugging him.

"Ok.." He says. I know he's still worried but I'll be fine. Luke won't hurt me. He's not bad.

When we arrived at my house he hugged me bye and told me to be carful. He's so sweet. I walked inside my house and told my mom hi and then ran upstairs to get ready. I only had 30 minutes to get ready so I did natural glam makeup and wore some black skinny jeans with a navy blue off the shoulder top and my white converse. It was very cute in my opinion.

"Cute" I said to myself as I stared at myself in the mirror. I actually felt really confident in this outfit. Which is rare.

I had finished early and decided to go downstairs and talk to my mom, hadn't talked to her all day so I thought why not. We sat and talked about my day and talked about the twins's birthday and all that stuff. Then my phone beeped. I assumed it was Luke replying to my text but it wasn't. He hadn't replied since I told him I'd meet him there. He was usually pretty good at replying quick but this time not so much. I told myself not to overthink it. I got up and hugged my mom bye and then left. Luckily Starbucks was across from the school and I lived only 10 mins away from the school.

"His phone probably died or he just didn't reply and maybe forgot too." I was telling myself. I didn't want to worry and work myself up over nothing.

As I walked into Starbucks i looked for him but no sign of him anywhere. He should've been here by now. We get out of school at 2:50 and it was already 3:00 o'clock. I walked up to counter and ordered mine and his drink. He always got the same thing every time we came so I knew what his order would be when he showed up. I payed and then sat at a table near the entrance so he knew where to find me. As I waited I checked my phone to see if my texts went through or if he had snapped me, but no. About 15 minutes later Summer and Brie and all their friends walk in. Summer sees me and laughs and turns and whispers something to Brie. I ignore it. They order then go and sit down at a table far from me.

"Thank goodness" I say to myself, a bit relieved. 

Another 15 minutes passes and I know he should definitely be here by now, but being me I come up with more excuses for him. Then I wait another 30 minutes for him, 1 hour in total. Assuming he probably had something to do after school. I had finished my drink and his melted (it was a Frappuccino) so as I sat at my table I figured Summer and all her friends left considering it had been an hour after school got out, so I got up and walked to the trash only to come to the realization that they didn't. I quickly threw away the cups and started walking back to the table but before I could take another step I heard

"She's so dumb, she's still here waiting for him". Laughed Summer

"Oh my gosh that's so sad, did he even text her and tell her? Asked Brie.

"That's the best part, no. I mean he's right she is annoying and needy like damn can't she take a hint. HES NOT INTO YOU!" Summer said to all her friends and they laughed.

"She is so dumb!" Brie laughed and everyone joined her.

"Wow I really am dumb. I'm so dumb. How could I think I had a chance with HIM." I said to myself walking out the door.

"I think she heard us" one of Summer and Brie's  friend said.

"Good" said summer sternly, and that's all I heard.

Luckily the door closed behind me so I don't here anything else. I didn't want too. I thought he wasn't that bad. I thought he was good, but I was wrong he was bad...
