"Wait so... you're gay?" Hansol groaned at the response, "Yes, wait no! Ah Mingyu you're confusing me now." "Hey man, I don't judge you know-" Hansol interrupted the taller, "I don't have a preference, I usually don't care, just one fuck right? But this one is... different." He sighed and looked at the horizon, slowly turning pink. Wonwoo cleared his throat, "Why don't you just call him?" Before Hansol could stop him, Seungcheol reached into Hansol's pocket and pulled out the note from Joshua, "Or you know, we could call him for you, if that's easier." Hansol's eyes widened at Seungcheol's nasty smile, "No! I can call him. I got it guys seriously."
He realized the other three were staring at him expectantly, "Wait, you want me to do this now?" effectively making Mingyu role his eyes, "Yes idiot. We're here for moral support." Wonwoo gave a cringe worthy thumbs up. Hansol sighed and took his phone out, dialing the number slowly.
Joshua had his phone turned off for the movie, and he convinced Seokmin to do the same. In fact, neither of them looked at their phone once while they were together.
They finally ended up back in Joshua's apartment snacking on bread sticks, courtesy of Seokmin. Joshua finally took his phone out of his pocket, holding the power button down to turn it on. He placed the device on the table before turning his attention to his friend. "So Seok, I've told you my love story. What about you?" The other shrugged, "I don't know really, I've always been a bit of a third wheel. A comical relief, if you will. So yeah, I just do my deliveries and watch Netflix most of the time. You just gotta go with the flow, you know?" Joshua nodded, wishing he could be more like Seokmin in that sense. The auburn haired boy began looking through his notifications
"He didn't pick up three times, he probably thinks I'm a stalker or some shit!" he shook his head, "I shouldn't have listened to you guys." Mingyu tried reasoning with his friend, "His phone might have died or something. Calm down, he could be at work, you never know." Hansol nervously ran his fingers through his shaggy hair, "I hope so." Wonwoo spoke up from the rock he was perched on, "You really do love this guy don't you?" Hansol stared at him before responding, "Love? Hell, I can't even remember what he looks like! I'm so stupid." Seungcheol sensed tension in the air, "I think we should all just chill, maybe go get some take out?"
They all agreed to the best Korean Grill in town, Hansol managed to laugh at Mingyu's ridiculous jokes and he completely lost it when Cheol's dish was so hot soda came out of his nose. Just forget about it.
Joshua gently set down his bread stick. Nothing seemed abnormal to Seokmin, who just continued watching the TV. He didn't seem to notice his friends rigid posture. Three missed calls.
Joshua cleared his throat, "Seok? Uhm.." Seokmin looked over, finally noticing that Joshua had gone pale, "Shua? What's wrong?" Joshua swallowed, his throat had gone dry, "I have three missed calls from an unknown number." The younger boys eyes widened, "Do you think it's-" "How the hell am I supposed to know? They probably called while I had my phone off, dammit." Seokmin had never heard Joshua swear before, "Hey, you're fine. Just call back." The auburn haired boy shook his head, "It's late now, and plus, it may not even be Hansol. It could just be a butt dial or something." Seokmin smiled, "A butt dial three times in a row?" The other sighed, "I guess you're right. Should I call now?"
As always, Hansol ended up back in his ratty apartment, alone. He was tired and full from dinner with the guys. He decided he ought to just sleep off his fuzzy Joshua filled brain. He didn't even know the guy anyway.
Joshua's throat was dry as he dialed the unknown number, Seokmin was right next to him for support.
Hansol had just closed eyes when his cellphone rang, nearly vibrating off of his nightstand. He swallowed and pressed the 'answer' button. A soft voice spoke, "Hello?"
