Eight

It was him. Joshua. Hansol knew the instant he saw him that he needed to date him. The auburn haired boy carefully sat down on the bench next to him and cleared his throat, "Hi Hansol," his voice made Hansol nearly melt in his seat. His voice was so smooth and soft. He was in love. And then he remembered he should probably talk to him. He took a deep breath, "Hi Joshua, I.. have a lot to say." The other chuckled, "I do too, but you go first."

Seokmin checked his phone every five minutes to see how his buddy Joshua was doing. He didn't trust this Hansol guy as much as he let on. He did liked seeing Joshua all flamboyant over him, because it meant he was happy. Yet, he had a fear in the back of his mind that Hansol might hurt him. He had only recieved one message from Joshua to which he didn't respond because he knew he was probably busy.

Josh: omg sush

When Seokmin first saw it he nearly laughed out loud, he's never seen Joshua say or type "oh my god," and for some reason he found it funny. Although he finds nearly everything funny. The bell ringing above the Pizza Hut door jolted the smiley boy back to reality. Oh great, it's these guys again. There were a few regulars there, and one happened to be an obnoxious group of four boys . Today they were missing the one with lighter hair, so it was only three of them. The tallest walked up to the counter trying to be intimidating. Seokmin had to admit it was working until the taller knocked over the tip jar, spilling change all over the floor, "Shit!"

"Nice going Gyu, anyways, wusup smiley, can we get one large cheese pie. Our lame friend wanted us to bring him and his date pizza when they get home. Like we're some kind of postmate service. But anyway, we're doing it because he finally realized he's gay."

Seokmin didn't really give two shits, that is, until the quiet guy in the back spoke up, "Jeez Cheol.. the guy doesn't need Hansol's whole life story.."

Seokmin looked up from typing their order in quicker than he thought possible. So the lighter haired one is Hansol. He looked up at the ceiling. May God give you strength Joshua.

Back on the boulevard bench, Hansol took a deep breath before pouring his heart out. "Listen Joshua, I don't know how but you changed me. Like, a lot. Before we met all I did was go to bars as soon as I got off work so I could get laid." He winced and looked at Joshua, who was inspecting every inch of his face. Hansol kept going, "But then I met you, and we... you know." Hansol looked up at Joshua again who had his hands covering his cheeks to hide a blush. Hansol continued, "Well, ever since then I've been different. My mind had been elsewhere trying to locate you. I knew there was something special about you, and I'm so glad you left your phone number. Thank you for that. And I'm sorry we had to meet under the circumstance of me being a total ass. I hope you could forgive me for that."

Hansol counted a whole thirty seconds before Joshua began to talk, "Hansol.. of course I forgive you. I mean, how could I not? If you weren't at the bar that night this would have never happened. Even though we had only a short interaction I couldn't stop thinking about you. My friend Seokmin pretty much nailed it when he said 'you're only flamboyant for him, and I love it'. I'm glad you had the guts to call, and I had the guts to call back." he smiled softly.

Hansol remembered the roses and reached under the bench to get them, and when he held them up to Joshua he noticed that they matched perfectly with his light eye shadow. Joshua smiled widely, making his eyes crinkle. 

It was him. Hansol. Joshua knew that they had to date. Could it be that he already loved this idiot? God give me strength, he thought. At that moment, Hansol stood up and offered Joshua his hand, "Do you want to walk and talk? Get to know each other more?"

Joshua took the younger boys hand, "Gladly."
