Sophie Elizabeth Richards was in no way Kingsman material. That's what she thought. Well maybe at start, when she was still a child, she had this big dream to be a superspy and save the world.
But let's rewind it a bit back.
As a child Sophie wasn't one to be known for bad behavior or bragging about things. For a child her age she was smart and sometimes too serious. Maybe that was a way of life saying that things will change around pretty quickly.
Till age of two she had everything. Two loving parents and the whole world in front of her. But that spring didn't come with earth waking up after a long and cold winter. Oh, no... Only thing that came with that spring was death.
Since that it has only been Sophie and her father. Till this day she's not sure if she even remembers her own mother correctly.
At age of three her father went on business trip. At least that's what he told her. Changing nanny after nanny, Sophie left no choice to her father as to put her in orphanage. As bad as it sounded, he couldn't risk her life because of his work.
When she turned seventeen she was so done with the fact that she had a father who didn't want her. One day in orphanage she received a package. Never in her life had she received one.
Upon opening it, some type of a badge or was it medal fell into her lap with a small note.
Sorry for your loss
We present you with Medal of Valor
~K~
Was written in cursive on one side of a card. Was this some kind of a joke? Turning it around she saw something more.
In a need of an emergency and only in an emergency, call the number.
Say 'Oxfords not Brogues'
This must be a joke. Something was mixed up. There was no other explanation for it. Taking the badge in her hands, Sophie looked at it. The design of it way to abstract to actually register anything in her mind right now. The numbers on other side didn't explain anything. Taking off the piece of fabric that was attached to it she put it around her neck in her silver necklace. Letting it rest on her collarbone she showed the note in her pocket and snuck out of orphanage.
Did she call this an emergency? Hell yeah she did. Finding the first telephone she could and punching in the number Sophie patiently waited for the other person to pick up.
"Customer Complaints, how may I help you?" came woman's voice from other end.
"Listen up, lady. What do you mean by saying 'sorry for your loss'?" Sophie said into the phone with annoyance.
"Who the hell died?!" she continued in a heartbeat.
"I'm sorry, madam. Wrong number." voice answered to her.
"Shit! Wait!" Sophie panicked at crabbed, now crumpled, note.
"O-Oxfords not brogues?" she said unsurely.
"Your complaint has been duly noted and we hope that we have not lost you as a loyal customer." voice said and the call ended.
"What?" Sophie cried in the phone. She spent her last money on this call and she got no answer! With anger she putted the phone back in its place and let out a frustrated choked sob. No way on Earth her father could be dead. Like how much she hated him for letting her go.
"I'll fucking show you loyal customer!" She screamed at the phone and went out of the booth. And as she stepped out of it, a police car stopped in front of her.
"Miss Richards?" police officer asked.
"I didn't do anything!" Sophie said raising her hands in surrender.
"Please, get in the car." was the only answer and she obeyed it.
That's how she ended in front of the Kingsman tailors shop.
Fast forward it to current time.
Meet twenty year old Sophie Elizabeth Richards- tailor at the Kingsman.
Daughter of late Agent Lamorak.
And the race for new Lancelot's position already has started.
