Next morning Sophie woke up in her own flat after countless mornings waking up at Kingsman estate. Still sitting in her bed, she realized how much she missed JB presence, and because of that, part of her missed Eggsy.
Dressing that day didn't go in hand. Trying on suit after suit she failed to find one for her job at tailor shop today.
Standing in front of her closet still in her robe but with all her make-up she looked at the mountains of clothing critically.
"Come on, I have stuff to do!" She yelled in frustration and instead of her beloved suits she grabbed her dark classic cut dress and favorite blazer.
"I'm going to stab someone today with my needles." She groaned and went out of her flat. As per usual, William waiting for her with cabby.
"Good morning, Miss Richards." William smiled and handed her a cup of tea.
"Be blessed, William, this is what I need." Sophie thanked him and taking the cup got into the car.
Sophie in that morning managed to hold one consultation for some men who needed some suits for wedding and now she was fitting suit for other gentleman that she did not recognize. When that was done, Sophie was left in Fitting Room Two to scribble down some notes and measurements, not caring what talk was going on outside of the room. With measuring tape around her neck, Sophie heard someone walking in the fitting room.
"Good morning, sir. How can I help you?" Sophie asked not even looking who came in and just closed the doors. Turning around she was met by Eggsy looking at himself in the mirror.
"What are you doing here, Unwin?" Sophie looked away from him feeling as if air has been knocked out of her.
"Harry said I needed a suit." Eggsy answered looking at her through the mirror.
"You're not a Kingsman yet." Sophie was toying with tape in her hands.
"He said either way I'll have lastin' memento." Eggsy watched her fumble with that tape. For a moment Sophie didn't answer, she opened her mouth couple of times to say something but she couldn't. Upon seeing this Eggsy turned to look at her.
"Are you alright?" He asked and grabbed hold of her hands that were now shaking and tangled with a tape.
Looking up at him with watery eyes she tried to say:
"I-I'm sorry, s-sir, please excuse... me. Someone... WillSeeToYourRequirements... in a second." She pulled her hands from Eggsy and swiftly left the fitting room. Closing door, she was met with Harry sitting on a sofa.
"How could you do that if you knew I was in there?!" Sophie, on the edge of tears, whisper-shouted at Harry
"Do you mean the fact that you were told not to get involved with him? You should have listened Richards, then this wouldn't be so--" Harry didn't finish his sentence when Sophie did it for him:
"Painful?! Because that's how I feel. In pain. He's going to be gone either way, Harry!" She pointed at the door.
"Yes, so go and do your job." Harry looked at her sternly.
"I was told not to interact with candidates!" Sophie cried out and crossed her arms.
"Now she listens..." Harry trailed off. Sophie was still looking at him, waiting for him to say that she doesn't have to do it.
"I better go and sit on a roof with my Zastava and let somebody take me out with a grenade than do this." She trailed off.
With sigh Harry stood up and walked to the Fitting Room Two and stood near the door.
"Elizabeth." He said in soft tone. Sophie turned to look at him. Harry reached for doors handle and opened them. Eggsy was still standing there, looking confused as ever, his eyes drifting from Harry to Sophie.
"Now, Miss Richards." Harry said loud enough for Sophie and Eggsy to hear.
"I give you half an hour." Harry said looking at his watch.
"To get your job done... and sort things out between you two. I cannot have two distracted Kingsmen around." Harry continued.
Sophie looked at him with wide eyes.
"Get that suit done, Richards." Harry said walking to Sophie.
"I can't... we can't..." Sophie was at loss for words.
"If you're stalling then another tailor can take the measurements." Harry said and went to walk up the stairs.
"No, no. I... I'll do it..." Sophie said her voice breaking at the end.
"Good. And Eggsy?" Harry stopped on stairs.
"Yeah?" Eggsy leaned out from the Fitting Room.
"Be a gentleman." Harry said emotionlessly and walked upstairs.
"Whatever fair lady asks for." Eggsy answered and looked at Sophie, confused.
"So, can I get that suit or what?" Eggsy sent small smile towards her.
"Shut up, Unwin." Sophie narrowed her eyes at him and went into the fitting room.
