Everyone's perception about you differs with time,
But changing ourselves according to them would be a crime.
A set of opinion about you is already built in the minds of people you meet daily,
Then why to keep our true self enclosed in a Bailey?
No matter how hard you try, you shall never succeed at the art of pleasing,
Then why to fall for looks, charm, luxury? They exists for seizing..
And number of failed attempts, still we don't accept that we can't change someone's perception,
At the end its just a game of deception!
This hope of getting appreciated for hard work needs to get cropped,
There is no solution for ass kissers, neither can it stop.
Keeping your expectations lower is an art at which one must master,
True love and feelings are too mainstream these days and fakism is a plaster.
