Jane Sanchez, an eight year old girl with a mysterious personality. Black hair that goes down a little past her shoulders, her hair split to the side almost covering her left eye. A white dress that goes down a little above her knees. She wore black boots and a silver locket around her neck. She was walking down the sidewalk on her way home, she never talked or made eye contact with people unless it's someone she can trust. She watched the carriages go by and the people talk. She walks alone, seeing people stare and whisper things to each other about why she couldn't make friends.
She wore a blank expression, she never really showed emotions. Because of reasons. She made it home after a while of walking, her home was on top of a hill. Far away from her town. Far away from people. Not far from the forest at all. The forest was like her endless backyard.
She opened the door and walked inside, making sure she shut it after. She walked into the living room. "Mother, father, I'm home" she said quietly, although it would still echo the big home. The home was silent. She went and made some food, making three plates of mash potatoes and corn. She set each plate in different spots on the table, and sat down in her seat. She sat there staring blankly then began to eat slowly. There sat a newspaper on the windowsill across the room that was given out two years ago.James Sanchez and Lyla Sanchez found dead in an alleyway on juniper street may 24, 1847. it's true, Jane's parents weren't there. They were dead. Buried in the cemetery west of town. She refuses to go there, saying something about the shadows. She acts like her parents are still home with her. She couldn't except that they were gone. Because, they weren't completely gone and she knew they weren't.
She stood up and walked out the back door, heading into the forest although it was dark outside. Only she can see the forest when it's foggy. She walked down the road slowly, looking at all her surroundings. She soon made it to a lake, looking at the water grow black. She watched with with no fear and no expression.
A shadow creature taller than than a 9 feet tree arose from the water. The black ooze dripping off the creature. The creature had white eyes that could look into people's souls. It looked at Jane and approached, kneeling down in front of her and putting his hand out in front of her. Already knowing what she wanted. She gently took an enchanted gem from it's hand and looked at the black water behind the creature. She nodded and the creature stood up, moving out of the way and watching her.
She walked to the water and cracked the gem in her hand. Then, she threw it in the water and watched as that part of the water started to glow red. Without hesitation, she walked into the black ooze and kept walking as it got deeper and deeper. Many things lurk in that water, devouring whoever was in it. She soon reached the red spot and with one breath she went under.
