Letter of Truth

“Hoseok hyung, can you read this letter to us, please?” said TaeHyung as he hand me over the letter. That letter looked important.

“Are you being serious right now?” this was the question I want to ask but decided to swallow it when noona also begged for the same thing. I have no choice but to agree to it. I opened the letter up and started the reading.

Annyeong TaeHyung-a,

      If you received this letter, that means I had gone over to the other side. I’m sorry you have to find out the truth like this. I was born with a heart disease where only a heart transplant could save me. My doctor actually designs a strict diet for me to follow and restricted my activities until a donor was found. I felt empty following all these order.

      My feeling change when I meet you, Kim Tae Hyung. You are my first and the closest friend I ever make in my limited life span. I never regretted following you throughout your adventurous trip, even if my life span getting shorter day by day.

      While readying to face my end, the only things I’m afraid of telling you the truth. How am I going to tell you I am going to the other side when you cried out loud when your pet Bibi died. You’re just too pure, an angel sent from heaven to bring joy to my life.

       Mom told me that each of us have 7 counter-parts in the world. I prayed that I could at least see mine once before anything happen. By chance, I met that person. We look alike and even sound alike. He looks like a mirror to me. He is a hyung. I make him promise to be friend with you if he ever meets you in the future. Silly me. It must be a burden to him.

        The things I forgot what his name was. I can’t remember them and am so sorry about it. But before we part, I gave him a bracelet that I intentionally want to give to you at first. The bracelet had two parts. I gave him one and keep the other so that when the time comes you could find this counter-part of mine.

I saw TaeHyung bring out a bracelet out from the envelope. I saw a small writing the right bottom and read it to myself.

TaeYang really good at predicting. Surprisingly, the bracelet looked familiar as it was the missing part of the bracelet I was wearing.

Before they even had the chance to say anything, I spill the truth. The whole truth until all of them satisfied that include Jin hyung. Jin hyung is the eomma of BTS and is in his nature to know something personal like this.

"This must be the things TaeYang tried to tell me in my dreams." Said TaeHyung as he carefully hold the letter again. He must be glad that he had finally solved the mystery surrounded the his best friend.

"Thank you TaeYang-a for everything." I heard TaeHyung's silence whispering, sending his thanks to his friend above.
