"No way, please tell me that's a joke" Adira laughed as she leaned on the railing. They were waiting in like to get in one of the gyrosphere's and herself and Zach were talking.

"It's the truth and I'm not ashamed" he sighed but laughed a little as well.

"You seriously went to a One Direction concert?" she laughed disbelievingly. "I really didn't peg you as that kind of guy"

"Yeah? What did you peg me as?" he asked with a sly smirk. He moved a little closer to her and placed a hand on the railing, effectively trapping her. Her heart skipped a beat but she managed to keep a passive expression as she looked into his brown eyes.

"Did you know the soft tissue is preserved because the iron in the dinosaur's blood generates free radicals and those are highly reactive" the voice of Gray interrupted their moment causing Zach to take a step back and send him a glare.

"The proteins and the cell membranes get all mixed up and act as a natural preservative. The DNA could survive for a millennia that way." she finished for Gray who nodded.

"You're so smart, how did you get to work here? What's it like to live on an island with dinosaurs?" he bombed her with questions again. Zach rolled his eyes but kept checking her out, unbeknownst to her of course.

"Shut up" he told him without taking his eyes off her. Gray looked at his brother and back at Adira and felt a little angry at him trying to steal his favourite person he had met so far.

"What do you think is gonna' happen with you just staring at her" he snapped. Adira laughed loudly and ruffled his dirty blonde hair that was in need of a cut.

"Thanks man" Zach said sarcastically and only felt angrier when Gray responded with a 'your welcome'. Whereas Adira continued to laugh. She could've got them to the front of the line but decided to get to know the boys first. She had been dragged along by them, even though she didn't mind.

"Hey Josh" she greeted the operator. He looked absolutely bored out of his mind, but that wasn't anything new. He was one of the teenagers who was working on the island for school credit. She had no idea how such a job could help you get into college, but decided that just mentioning the name 'Jurassic World' was enough to get you anywhere. It truly was a huge attraction, and why wouldn't it be? It was like a trip through time to see the magneficent beasts that used to roam the earth. Even though it was very risky.

"How about that date Adi?" he flirted horribly. She refrained from rolling her eyes. He really never gave up, she had to give him props for persistence though.

"Just the gyrosphere Josh" she sighed while waiting for it to pull up. She was glad they made family sized ones that had more than two seats. "Stop flirting with me in front of the kid" she patted Grays shoulders, pushing him to the gyrosphere.

"Who's the other guy" he asked. She sat in the back in the four seated gyrosphere and let Zach and Gray sit in the front since she had been on the ride a million times before. The back still showed a lot though, since it was a glass hamster ball.

"Boyfriend, so shut up unless you want trouble" she lied with a confident smirk. Zach looked back in surprise and tried to stutter something out but Adira closed the door herself without Josh's help. Gray laughed at the confused look on his brothers face.

"Calm down stutter boy, I just said it to get him off my back" she laughed. She hadn't expected him to act so surprised. He only nodded and went to controlling the gyrosphere.

"He's a funny guy" Adira commented with a small laugh at the screen that had Jimmy Fallon describing how the gyrosphere worked. Although neither of the boys payed attention as they looked around for the dinosaurs.

"Turn right here, there's a lake where they usually hang around" she told Zach. She leaned forward in her seat to point over his shoulder.

"Woah" they both breathed out when they turned the corner and were met with Triceratops, Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus. She stayed quiet, letting them take in the scenery until a beeping sound on the monitor caught their attention. The ride was apparently closed. Adira raised her eyebrows in surprise and leaned forward to tap on the screen to get more information, but it was in emergency mode, stopping from anything but the portrayed message to be read.

"Come on, we can stay for another few minutes" Zach argued when he saw Gray's saddened face.

"But they said it was closed" he pointed out. Adira leaned as much as her seat belt allowed her.

"Aunt Claire gave us special wristbands, right? We're VIP dude" he told him with a smile. Gray looked at him sceptical. "Plus, Adi works here, if anything goes wrong she'll keep us safe" he sent Adira a pleading look. She sighed and nodded since he was actually trying now.

"Dinosaur whisperer" she laughed but sent a glare to Zach when Gray turned around in his seat again. They continued on through the field in awe.

They were knocked out of their trance when Zach's phone began to ring. He sighed and pulled it out of his pocket.

"Hey Claire" he said. Adira was surprised at her calling, she was usually on a schedule and random family calls wasn't a thing for her.

"Yeah, he's here with me and Adi as well" he told her. "I can't really hear you, we're in the hamster ball"

"Gyrosphere" she muttered with a roll of her eyes.

"Hm" he muttered when the call hung up. He shrugged and pocketed his phone again.

"Claire" Owen called when he saw her walk through the hologram of a raptor in the innovation centre. He had been looking for Adira for a while but hadn't called her since he thought she'd been in Starbucks like she usually did in the centre.

"I need you. I need you help" she rushed out. He looked at her surprised. "My nephews, they- they're out in the valley, please if anything happens to them.." she continued to rant until he pulled her away from prying eyes.

"Okay, I just need to find Adira" he told her.

"She- She's with them" she stuttered out with her eyes widening in realisation. Owen did a double take and searched his pocket for his phone in a hurry.

"How old" he asked as he tried to calm his nerves so he could type in his phones pass code.

"Uh.. The older one, he's like high school age. The younger one, he's um.. he's a few years.." she tried to explain until Owen stopped her.

"You don't know how old you nephews are" he sighed with a look of disbelief. He rolled his eyes and waited for Adira to answer the phone.

"Finally! Adira!"

"Finally! Adira!"
