Stella set the basket she held down by the door "Ada, I meet with the inspector today...." she said softly, Ada hadn't left her and Freddie's home since they took him away. She refused to talk to anyone and refused to take food from any Shelby. Stella was the only one who could get through to her "I'm going to see what I can do, I can't make any promises but you should know....I'm going to give them hell." on the other side of the door Ada kissed her son's head and smiled softly. "Take care of yourself." Stella said before walking away. "Did she talk to you?" Polly asked, Stella shook her head "I'm sorry, I have to go now though." Polly squeezed Stella's hand before the two women parted ways.
Polly stormed into the house, Thomas was smoking in the kitchen "Did you speak to her?" he asked "No, she refuses to speak to a Shelby, refuses to take the food we send her. You know who brings her groceries now? Sella." Pol said turning to him in anger "Stella has become more family to her than you have." Thomas didn't meet POl's eyes as he absorbed this information. Stella has wormed her way into his family quite quickly, it was starting to raise some flags.
Stella sat in a plush chair, a cigarette in hand and completely at ease. Across from her sat Billy Kimber and his accountant. "I'm glad you've decided to take me up on my offer, Mr. Kimber." she smiled "We need to go over some things." he said "Of course, what would you like to know?" she asked inhaling from her cigarette. "For starters, how many guns can you provide?" the accountant asked "Two crates to start, revolvers, one for every man." she said "Then if you are happy with them I can send you pistols, rifles, Tommy guns, semi-automatic, or fully automatic...your choice. Of course the bigger the gun the more expensive it is." she puffed her cigarette "And how soon can you get me these guns?" Kimber asked "You pay me up front in full and I can get you your guns by end of day after next." Kimber and his accountant shared a look "Do we have a deal?" Stella asked.
Kimber leaned back in his chair "You said something about the Peaky Blinders....what do you know." Stella shrugged a shoulder "Nothing, but I promise if anything about you comes up then I'll get a message to you straight away." Kimber nodded "I want two crates, all automatics." Kimber said jabbing his finger into the table. Stella smiled "It'll cost you an awful lot, Mr. Kimber." He leaned forward "Do I look like I can't fucking afford it to you?" Stella shook his hand "Pleasure doing business, Mr. Kimber." the accountant handed her over the money and she tucked it into her pocketbook. "If you don't hold up your end of the deal, I'll fucking kill ya." Kimber said. Stella simply smiled "Good day, Mr. Kimber."
Stella walked into the office, she counted the money and placed it in her safe before locking it tight. "Stella, you're back." Stella smiled at Ewan "It's a good day, Ewan." she moved to sit at her desk "I did like you said, left a message for Alfie." Stella nodded "Good, I expect he'll be wanting more guns then. Tell the boys to prepare a shipment." Ewan nodded "Oh and I won't be needing you today, just keep an eye on the warehouse and the factory." Stella told him "Be ready, there might be some backlash from what I'm about to do." Ewan nodded "I'll keep everything safe."
Stella's heels clicked against the tiled floor, men in uniform all watched as she passed, some with hatred, other in fear. She held her head high as she walked straight towards the head office. "Ms. Newel." Inspector Cambell clasped his hands as she walked into his office. "Inspector." she removed her coat and laid across the back of a chair. "What are you doing here?" she smiled as she sat "The other night I was with some friends, bringing new life into this world, innocent life. It was a beautiful moment, really, a beautiful day. Families being brought together in marriage, brought together by a child." she smiled.
