Dark woke up to the sound of the home phone ringing in the hall. He opened his eyes and got out of bed before opening his door to go open the phone. A woman was on the other side of the line. "Hello? Are you Damien?" Dark rolled his eyes as he realized it must be one of Wilford's coworkers calling. "Yes. Thats me. Why?" A small nervous chuckle could be heard in the women's voice before she cleared her throat. "Wilford hasn't come into the office this morning so we were wondering if he was alright. He has been rather hard on himself lately." Dark felt his heart pinch when he thought about it... He didn't remember if Wilford had even went to his room the previous night. "Uh... Can you wait a moment please?" The woman answered that she could and Dark placed the recipient on the small table before as calmly as he could walk down the hall and looking inside Wilford's bedroom to find he wasn't there. Having a suspicion Dark teleported to the pink egos office where he saw Wilford sleeping with his head on his desk. With a smile of relief Dark went to brush some hair out of his friends face only for him to find that Wilford's skin was boiling hot. He frowned and teleported back to near the phone and pick it back up. "He seams to be sick today. I don't think he can come into work at the moment." The woman on the other side of the phone line was understanding and said she wished Wilford a swift recovery and hung up. Dark quickly got dressed in a pair of jeans and a flannel, Something he bearly ever wore, and went to get Wilford into his own bed.

When Dark picked up his friend Wilford's only response was a displeased groan which caused Dark to chuckle softly as he walked up the stairs. After helping Wilford into something more comfortable he pulled a chair closer to the bed. As Wilford looked at him Dark softly stroked his cheek before placing a cold cloth on the journalist's forehead. "Will. You know I hate seeing you sick." Wilford still being himself rolled his eyes. "It's not my fault you hate it." Not finding it funny Dark rolled his eyes and stood up. "I have to go get something. Be back in a sec." Dark stepped out of his room his glowing blue aura pulsating as he headed down to the kitchen. It took only a moment for him to find a can of soup in the pantry.

When he was finished cooking the soup he put it in a bowl and brought it up to Wilford's room with a spoon. When he saw that Wilford has fallen back asleep he simply placed the bowl and spoon on the side table and sat on the chair to make sure his friend was alright waiting for him to wake up to eat.

Dark spent most the day taking care of Wilford and talking to him when he was awake. At a few moments Wilford accidentally called him Damien which he didn't actually mind. But near five a clock Dark got hungry yet he didn't want to leave Wilford's side. When the pink ego realized he spoke up. "You know. You shouldn't starve yourself to take care of me. You can go eat now Celin." Dark was taken aback slightly by what he was called yet... It was familiar and it didn't feel wrong. His aura grew dominant red and he tilted his head slightly to the side. "You... You just called me Celin." Wilford's eyes went wide and he looked down seaming shameful. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to call you that." Dark simply lifted Wilford's chin with his hand and smiled. "Will. I didn't yell at you... Now did I.?" Still avoiding eye contact with Dark Wilford shook his head. "I just... Thought." Dark sat on the bed to be able to hug Wilford before answering. "You already call me Damien on a regular basis. I must remind you of Celine whoever she is or was. And that's fine my Dear Wilford. I'll love you no matter what." Now relieved that he hadn't screwed up Wilford smiled and could have sworn he saw Celine's smile on Dark's face which he brushed off. Dark kissed Wilford's forehead and exited to room gently closing the door behind him.
