Extra long one for you guys! And it's special, so be a wonderful fan and press that grey start to Orange, yeah! LOL

As you can see, this is in a narrative/story/first person type...thing and isn't in text messages, or notes, or whatever. I just wanted to put one of these in, just to make it special for you guys. Don't judge the writing of this, though, okay? Because I literally wrote this in 1/2 an hour for you guys. Just because I was feeling nice.

If anyone of you want/have checked out my writing and not just the 5/7 projects, I suggest checking out The Meaning Games, it's my favourite book of mine.

Have a good day! XD

“Hello?” I called out into the empty room. “Are you in here?”

After gaining no response, I dumped my bag full of books down onto the floor and walked into his room further. His bed covers were spew all over the place – not made neatly – and tracksuit bottoms were draping over an office chair by his desk. This was typical, he was ill, he was out of bed, and he was being lazy.

Someone behind me cleared their throat and I jumped, startled, turning around to narrow my eye at whomever had scared me.

Then my heart faltered for a second.

                Before doing a cartwheel.

               No, make that two cartwheel's.

                It was Jesse.

“Oh,” I said flatly. “It’s you.”

Jesse’s lips curled up into a smirk. “Who else would it be?”

I folded my hands over my chest. “Well,” I said nonchalantly, “I was kind of hoping it would be your dad, actually.”

“In my room?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.

                “Still his house.”

                “Right.”

I unfolded my arms at his intensive gaze and looked around his room, my eyes re-scanning his messy bed. “So, you got out of bed then.”

“Yeah,” he replied, hooking his thumb to the en-suite behind him. “I wanted a shower.”

“So that means you’re better?” I asked. Great, if he was better, that meant he could come back to college soon. When Jesse smirked – and even before he said what I knew he was going to reply – I mentally hit myself. Damn, I sounded too eager there, too excited?

                “Why’d miss me that much?”

                I knew it.

                “No.”

Jesse moved closer, and I looked away from his face, his gorgeous face, finally noticing he was shirtless. Damn, there’s that six pack that I’d accidently seen a few times. Why is it whenever I was around Jesse he acted like he didn’t know what I shirt was?

“Morgan, my eyes are up here.”

I snapped my attention back to him, blushing furiously. Gee, Morgan, pull yourself together. Jesse’s your friend. You best friend.
