*buzz buzz*
It's currently 6 AM and I was awoken to my annoying alarm because guess what... it's my first day of school. Yayayayay I mentally say. As you can see I'm not excited at all. As I drag myself out of my warm bed my mom comes into my room and starts opening my curtains to let the sunlight in.
Mom no don't open them, I'm melting no no.
"Oh sweetie stop it and start getting ready, it's your first day of junior year aren't you excited". she asks. Let's see starting a new school in the middle of the year, I don't know anybody, and as you remember from how things went at my last school.... no I'm not excited. "Awh sweetie it'll be okay you'll make plenty of friends. Now start getting ready" she says then leaves my room. Once I'm up I go into the bathroom and wash my face, brush my teeth you know the normal. I then decide on wearing this whiteish dress with little pink flowers on it and my white sneakers since it has been pretty hot out. I then went on with my normal make up routine and just did some foundation and mascara and just some chap stick... keeping it simple for my first day. I then see the time and it's 7:40 and school starts at 8:00 so I grab my backpack and run downstairs, grab a granola bar, bye mom, I say. "Bye sweetie, have a good day today love you." Love you too , bye I say then shut the door and jump into my car and it's off too school for me.
*at school*
I just pulled into the student parking lot with 10 minutes to spare until the bell rings which means that school starts. And I'm not going to lie when I say I am scared out of my pants. I just want to fit in and not be treated the way I was at my old school because it was horrible. Once I walk into the school gates I am immediately met with nasty stares, a bunch of fuckboy guys who start whistling right when I walk buy and a bunch of whispers from everyone. As I'm looking for the office so I can get my schedule I bump into someone.
"Omg I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going. I bend down and pick up their book that they dropped," and once I give it to the person and see who it is that I bumped into.... I'm in shock.
"Grayson, I say"
Grayson's POV:
Me and Ethan just walked into school and I was walking to my locker not paying attention and some girl bumped into me and I dropped my book. "Omg I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" she said. Wait a minute, why does her voice sound so familiar, like I've heard it before. Once I look up I realize it's Lily. Wait what she goes to this school now.
"Hello earth to grayson" she says probably realizing that I zoned out. Yeah sorry I'm just shocked, I didn't know you were coming to this school. "Yeah, um by any chance can you show me where the office is?" She asks me.
Yeah of course follow me.
*ring ring*
Lily's POV:
I'm not going to lie when I realized that it was Grayson that I bumped into I was a little happy just because now I can say I know two people at this school. One being Grayson and the other being Ethan. Well the bell rang and all the students started piling into their classrooms but not me, Grayson was showing me to the office because I needed to get my schedule. "Well here's the office, but I should be getting to class" he says. Yeah of course thank you again. "Wait Lily, how about you eat lunch with me, Ethan, and some of our friends today." Yeah I'd love that, I say then watch him run to class. I then proceed to walk into the office. Hi I'm new and I need my schedule. "Well yes of course what's your name sweetie" the lady behind the desk asks. Lily, I say. "Okay here you go and umm Zach", she says and pulls someone to where I am. "Can you please show um Lily where her classes are, she's new." Yeah of course, the tall, blonde boy says. "Hi I'm Zach" he introduces himself. Hi I'm Lily. "Okay well lets take a look at your schedule" he says then grabs it from me. Zach is really attractive might I say. He's tall, got blonde hair, greenish eyes, and has perfect white teeth, and the way he dresses is very in style might I say. "Okay well luckily enough you have 4 classes with me, and your 1st one is with me so let's go" he says. "Hey so tell me about yourself." Well my names Lily, I moved from California because my mom got a job opportunity down here, I'm 16, and an only child. How about you? I ask. "Well I'm also 16, my name is Zach as I already told you, and I am also an only child, so looks like we got a lot in common" he says and ends it with a smile. "Also may I add that you look gorgeous". Thank you I say trying not to blush like crazy. "Well here's our first class AP English" he says and opens the door for me. "Well hello you must be new I'm Mr.McBride and you are... " Lily I say. "Okay well everybody this is Lily make sure you treat her with respect and are kind and Lily you can take a seat right there next to Grayson.... Grayson raise your hand" he says. As I go and take my seat next to Grayson, a couple of guys whistle behind me and start laughing, I look over to Grayson and see he tensed up once they did that. I wonder why?
