Ethan's POV: So our new neighbor Lily is beautiful but like always Grayson called dibs on her which I feel is unfair because he always does this and then just ends up breaking the girls heart. He's not right for Lily, I am, and I know she's literally in the room next to me but I can't sleep I just keep thinking about her and then I just decide screw it and send her a Snapchat.
Lily's POV: I woke up in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep and I heard my phone ding, so I looked to my left and made sure Cameron was still sleeping and grabbed my phone, turned down the brightness and saw that I got a Snapchat from Ethan. Weird because me and him really haven't talked or been able to get to know each other. I open it and he said " can't sleep." Is he trying to tell me something like to go to his room to talk or what like why would he send me that. I decide to just get up and go to his room. So I knock trying to be quiet and make sure I don't wake anybody up.
Ethan's POV:
*knock knock*
I heard a knock so I got up to open my door and Lily was standing there looking beautiful. She had her hair in a messy bun with her glasses on. I couldn't help but not admire how beautiful she looked.

Oh hey Lily umm what're you doing here, I said while snapping out of my thoughts. "Well you snapchatted me remember" she said with a laugh. Oh yeah come in. "So why can't you sleep she asked?" I'm going to be honest with you and just say it, I know I've only known you for like 3 days but you're beautiful, and you're so happy which instantly puts me in a good mood, and yeah your probably thinking that I'm crazy because I don't even really know anything about you except your from Australia. "Ummm" she said seeming a little taken back. And I know Grayson has tried to be all flirty and stuff with you and I'm not saying you have to choose because well you don't I just wanted you to know that's how I feel. "Well that's really sweet Ethan it is, it's just a lot to take in right now, umm so I'm going to go to bed" she said. Umm yeah right I said sounding a little upset and I think she noticed because then she said "goodnight Ethan" and kissed me on the cheek and my mood instantly changed. I was so happy.
Cameron's POV: I woke up and checked the time and it was now around 2:40 AM and I looked to the side and saw that Lily wasn't there, hmm maybe she's in the bathroom. I heard her slowly creep back into my room and crawl into bed trying her best to be quiet. Where'd you go I said. "Oh my gosh Cameron you scared me I thought you were sleeping" she said all out of breath because I guess I did actually scare her. Haha but really where were you. "I was talking to Ethan, now goodnight" she said trying to avoid any more questions. Why were you guys talking at like 2 AM I asked sounding suspicious. "He snapchatted me saying he couldn't sleep so we just talked for a little bit" she said sounding nervous and not making eye contact with me. What'd you guys talk about? "Oh nothing just you know normal stuff" she said. "Well goodnight" and like that she went to bed. I knew she wasn't asleep already she just said that to get me to stop asking questions, but I wonder what they were talking about because whatever it was, Lily really didn't want to talk about it. I'll find out eventually whether it comes from her or not.
