Me, Myself, and The Boy Next Door

Chapter 1

"Why are you guys doing this to me"  Jacia whines while looking out the window

"Honey you know your father got a great job offer here" she smiled and rubs her husbands shoulder 

"step" Jacia said

"what'd you say honey" her mom said

"i said step, he's my step father" jacia said looking at the couple then back out the window

"yeah, of course sorry honey" she said looking around slightly embarrassed 

Jacia lost her father in a car accident about three years ago. She was 13 when it happened. Her father was her best friend. Her mother ended up marrying the police officer, Jeremy Renzo, that was at the scene of her fathers car accident. weird right? He ended up quitting his job as a police officer and became a writer. Also weird, he writes about his adventures being a police officer and I guess people just love that. 

"and we're here ladies" Jeremy says while turning into their new homes driveway

"Welcome home" Mom says throwing her arms in the air only to hug Jacia.

"yeah" Jaica says pushing her mom off of her 

Jacia walks up to the house and notices that it is a beautiful house and she could get use to it.

Jacias Pov

I ended up picking the biggest room upstairs and let me tell ya, it was freaking huge. It has a big window that showed the neighbors house next door and it also showed the big lake behind the house. I was absolutely beautiful and I could definitely get used to it real quick. I start to unpack my things and I start to put my room together. 

2 hours later 

I'm sitting in my bay window when i see a teenage boy about my age playing with a soccer ball. He starts doing some tricks with the ball but loses the ball in my yard. I watch him run after the ball and I forget that I'm in this big ass window where everyone can see m. He looks up and I throw myself on the ground 

"holy fuck"

Jace's Pov

"Jace! Honey please come here" Jaces mom yells 

"here i come mom" i say 

"Honey would you take this over to the new neighbors house, i have to leave soon so i want you and Aiden to take this over please" she says while putting her shoes on

"yeah of course mom, let me go put some better clothes on and then i'll be on my way" i say while smiling 

"Thank you so much love, tell them its from Claire and the Normans, i'll see you in a few hours babe stay out pf trouble and call me if anything goes wrong I love you" she says as she kisses Jace on the head and walking out the door

"Love you most" I say walking up the stairs. 

" Aiden come on we have to go give something to the new neighbors" I say slipping on a clean t shirt and khaki shorts

"Why cant you just do it" Aiden says following Jace down the stairs

"because mom wants us to both go do it so just deal with it and come on" I say as i grab the dish and head out the door

"Somebody better be hot over here" Aiden mumbles under his breath 

I laugh at my brothers remark and continue walking 

Jacia's Pov

I'm singing and dancing in my room when i get rudely interrupted by a doorbell. I wait awhile and the bell continues to ring. 

'No you guys don't have to get up, i will since im the only one that has a pair of legs and arms to open the door' I say in my head as I open the door 

"Hey, can I help you" i say smiling 

"Hi, I'm Jace and this is my brother Aiden and we're your new neighbors" Jace says while smiling 

"Oh cool, nice to meet you guys! I'm Jacia your new neighbor" i saying laughing and shaking both boys hands

"We brought this over for you and your family" Jace says handing Jacia the warm dish 

"Awh that's sweet, thank you so much" I say smiling 

Jace looks at Aiden since he hasn't said anything since they got there and Aiden looks like he's in heaven 

"Aiden stop looking at her like that, what are you doing" Jace whispers and nudges him 

Aiden jumps out of his trance and grabs Jacia's hand just to kiss it. 

"oh hey, I'm Aiden" he says as he smiles and winks at me 

"Hey Aiden, I'm Jacia and think we've already met" i said laughing and winking back at him

"Oh right" Aiden says and his cheeks are turning a light pink color 

" Well Jacia it was lovely meeting you and so sorry to intrude. Welcome to the neighborhood, i hope we become the bestest of friends. All of us" Jace says while smiling

"Yes of course, its really to have some friends here. Maybe we'll end up going to the same school together, what school do you guys go to" I say and smile 

" We both go to Kingsbury High School" Jace says 

"Really?! that's where i will be attending! Please help me around tomorrow? pretty please?" I say as i get on my knees and put my hands together to beg

"okay okay, get up silly girl" Jace says while laughing and helping me up 

"yay" i say and laugh 

"you're really cute" Aiden laughs 

Jace and Jacia look at Aiden with wide eyes 

"I said it out loud didn't I" Aiden says realizing what he did and looks likes hes had it with everything bad he does

"yeah bro, you did" Jace says laughing 

"It's alright Aiden, you're pretty cute yourself"  I say and smile 

"thank you love" Aiden says 

"okay really now I gotta go J, can I call you that,'J'?" Jace says 

"Of course you can, it was really nice meeting you guys, and i cant wait for tomorrow believe it or not" I say smiling 

"It was lovely meeting you as well. See you tomorrow love" Aiden says smiling and he starts walking back to his house 

"see you around, J " Jace  said smiling then walking back to his house 

I close the door and slide down it 

"oh boy"
