my heart skipped a beat. i woke up to a text. from you.

it had been three days since that strange night and you wanted to meet me. at the cafe where you met my best friend.

immediately i agreed and it was an hour before our scheduled outing.

i wrote this part down thoroughly. my mind was filled with thoughts of what he had wanted to meet about.

i can remember exactly what both of us were dressed in.

you in your dark sweater and beanie. me in my long grey coat and black scarf wrapped around my neck tightly.

     i can remember the way you looked at me as if it had only happened just now. your soft eyes glancing at my lips and your ivory cheeks now a scarlet color.

    your seductive looks caught me off guard ad i tried to hide my liking for it. the red stain on my cheeks was turned away from you as i composed myself.

     smiling,you told me to sit down and i nodded in a response. we sat fairly close,which made me nervous.

     i could tell you were unsettled by our shoulders that were just millimeters apart. was this sexual tension? or just discomfort?

     we made small talk for awhile before you told me the reason for this unexpected inviting.

     smiling and blushing, you looked at me and apologized. i was confused for a minute before realizing.

     our kiss. that one brush of the lips we shared on the stroke of midnight. how could i forget.

     i asked you why you apologized. you looked away embarrassed. i told you that it was okay and that i liked it.

     you were surprised and looked at me with hopeful eyes. now that i think of it i was surprised you even remembered as you were plenty drunk.

      so i asked. how could i forget something like that was all you replied.

      we continued to talk for awhile. getting to know each other. i learned a lot about you yoongi.

that day we walked out of the small cafe not knowing what are relationship was and decided to leave it alone. we hadn't known each other for long and knew it would take time.

that's when i knew i would wait as long as it takes. as long as i had you by my side.
