Struggling, the girl succeeded,  as she carefully made her way through the seemingly endless corridor.

Her vision was a mess; tears and mud spread on her eyelashes as her visage was falling apart, from her perspective.

From the man's perspective; from the man who looked at the girl with a mixture of amusement and a faint look of guilt on his face...

From his perspective she was in a deplorable state.

And as he forcefully grabbed her wrist, they both knew it.

Chapter two:The girl named Millie
Break those walls

"So you're telling me that you found a girl laying on the ground, and you decided that you should bring her over?" Caleb began making a short resume from what Sadie said.

"Laying and freezing and crying on the ground.Yes." the redhead resorted back, emphasizing the state of the brown haired girl.

"Have you taken your pills? You're making no sense at all.Why would you just bring a stranger to the house.." he deadpanned emphasizing 'the' in his phrase, as he thought that his friend is out of her head.

"Have you taken your heart this morning?Because I think I'm hearing a faint Boom boom upstairs on your nightstand. You soulles bastard! What if you were in her situation?!"

Sadie angrily spilled out all her thoughts, as the boys behaviour was pushing her limits.

Caleb gritted his teeth in annoyance as the girls word echoed through his mind.

' Fuck it.I'm doing their psycho game. But if this sleeping chick tries to suddenly attack them- '

"At least you know her name?Or where she came from?No ignore that.Do you know a single thing about her?"

"Pshh!Of course, silly!" gaten broke the silence raising his eyebrows letting out a little chuckle.

"She's a girl. She has brown hair. She is probably homeless...she's cold and she was crying!" proudly admitted gaten as he earned some eyerolls from his friends.

"So does anyone know something about her?Or y'all just bought a possible skilled fighter in the house...?"

"That's bullshit.A skilled fighter laying unconsciously on the cold snow?Think twice.Or thrice if your mind is working slow.."

An unrecognizable voice made them all stare with their jaws dropped, and eyes full of surprise; with a bit of fear in them, at the girl that was sitting on the soft mattress before.

Making eye contact with the, appearing brown eyed girl, they all seemed to be at a loss of words. Not only that her eyes were really big...but they were also...intimidating.

"I..eh..umm...." Sadie started rambling on different sounds as the latter snickered.

"You...eh...umm....?" She copied her making an innocence face, her lips still in a small smile.

"Why hello there.Look who decided to wake up.It's Aurora!"
Laughed Sophie coming out of the kitchen, with a bowl of soup in her hands.

"Why won't you stop being a bitch just after you woke up in some strange house...In your case I would just shut up and thank them because who know..maybe we are some skilled fighters." The redhead added with a wink as she then placed the bowl in the amber eyed girls lap, as Millie's words got stuck up in her throat.

"I..." They all looked towards the girl which was fidgeting with the end of a blanket awkwardly. It was calming her in a way...the way the soft material made contact with her cold fingers made her almost think she was in a warm and comfy cloud.

"My..my name is Millie." Gulping, she let go of the blanket bitting the inside of her cheek as she made eye contact with the group.

"I..I am Sadie!" The redhead spoke a bit to loud, as she grabbed Millie's hands showing her brightest smile.

Sighing in relief, Sophie smiled a bit as she put the courtains away, the light foreseen by the sun displaying her freckles which adorned her face in such a beautiful way, Millie thought for a moment she was staring at a painting.

"I am Sophie and--"

"And I'm Noah!" The youngest one of them said getting off of Millie, and only now she recognized he was blowing her shoulder. It felt funny. It tickled her. The boy who proclaims himself as Noah smiled making Millie think if his cheeks weren't hurting. He was cute.

"I am Gaten!" The boy who's hair remembered Millie of a noodle soup smiled slightly as his blue eyes sparkled . His hair made her hungry. But then remembering the bowl of soup she had in her hands, she was surprised to see it was a...guess...exactly!noodle soup!

"And I'm Caleb." The other boy across the room announced as she stared at his skin for a little too long.

"What?Never saw a boy of colour?" He asked looking down a bit, as Millie choked  on her own saliva, waving her hands around, speaking very rapidly they could barely understand her.

"No,no,no!It's just that...It's beautiful..?" She blurted out, as the boy stared at her wide eyed.

"T..thank---"

"Okay enough with the compliments...." a pouty Sadie crossed her arms as she wanted to stop the two to get more...friendly to her liking.

"I'm gonna go get a drink.Who else wants?" Caleb asked them and then nodded when he saw that all of them; exluding Millie which was currently eating her soup; had their hands up in the air, as he made his way towards the kitchen.

"Be careful..." Noah whispered in Millies ear as he had a sly smirk on his face .
"Sadie kinda has...a thing for Caleb." He added as Millie slowly nodded, never thinking about Caleb in such a way.Despite it all, she only just...met him.

"Bullshit!I'm only...I'm only fond to him!" Sadie whisper yelled back, earning a chuckle from Noah as Millie was definitely having the time of her life. For now.
