"I don't want to wake up the kids just yet," Brian whined as he looked at you, pouting a little bit as well. "If I'm honest, I'd love to go back to sleep too." He sank in his seat and grunted. "You go wake 'em."

You shook your head and responded, "this was your idea, but fine." You got up and walked up to your twins' room. You carefully shook the five-year-olds awake and smiled as they yawned. "It's time for pretty clothes, darlings." You joked and they independently got out of their beds. You got their clothes ready and looked at the time. You had to be at the photographer's studio in 45 minutes. Which should be enough time.

You helped the kids get ready, got their teeth brushed and then went down for breakfast - you were always taught not to brush your teeth right after breakfast anyway. The four of you ate in silence, for the most part. Here and there some minor details were discussed but that was about it. You all finished breakfast and it was about time to get set to leave.

The drive didn't last long, which was a good thing because it was way too early for long road trips. Brian parked the car and you got out before helping your twins. You fixed their shirts and walked towards the studio as soon as you realized Brian was good to go.

The photographer set up the camera as well as a backdrop while you fixed your hair and clothes and in a matter of just some minutes, you were ready for the pictures to be shot. A couple serious - or "formal" ones were taken, then Brian decided to pose for some goofier ones as well which you couldn't truly say no to. As long as it wasn't too bad, that is. Brian kneeled down and took your daughter, holding her at the waist like a prom pose. You did the same with your other daughter.

The last couple pictures were taken and you were told you'd get them sent to your email within three days, watermarked. You could then choose to keep them all, or only specific once and you would receive them without watermark later after payment. Quite standard and logical, you thought.

You said your goodbyes after exchanging anymore details and information and got into your car again while Brian decided to go to the mall. You just went with it and off to the mall you were. Brian decided he wanted to get the kids a little something for listening to him during the whole photo session. He ended up getting them Pokémon packs - you passed down your collection to them and they seemed to enjoy expanding it so you weren't bothered at all when Brian told you about the idea.

Next was getting lunch and after, you decided to call it a day. Honestly, you just wanted to go home and help your kids organize the cards. Which you did, as soon as you got home you got the girls to sit down at the table while you got the cards from their room. Brian sat with you and together you sorted the cards by type, while you discussed how much you liked or disliked each Pokémon design. A lot of evenings were spent like this, but it never grew old.

"Unpopular opinion, I don't like pikachu."

"Why?" Brian would ask you.

"He's too simple. Besides, I prefer larger Pokémon." Brian smirked. You scoffed. "And also, fire types are my preference. If you don't like fire type Pokémon, you can't sit with me."

Brian moved away and laughed. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He moved back and pecked your cheek. "Fire Pokémon are surprisingly hot."

As with the Alaska one, I might add to this if I figure out a good way to end this! This one was for larryonepilots .
