"I’ll be fine Brielle,” Here was Terry trying to assure me that everything would be alright when he had no clue what would happen.

“Terry you telling me that you will be fine doesn’t assure me of anything. You could have gotten shot five times and still tell me you are going to be fine to try to keep me sane.” He laughed.

“Seriously B, It’s nothing serious!”

“How can you say that Terry? It is serious. You are going under for it.”

“Brielle stop worrying!”

“I can’t” I told him as the tears finally emerged and spilled over my eyes. I was such a sucker.

“B, don’t do this,” He said sitting up.

“Come here,” He motioned pulling me into his lap. “Stop crying!” He demanded rubbing at my eyes.

“Look at me!” he said as he grabbed my face in both hands. “I will be okay! You can’t get rid of me that easy.” He placed his mouth against my kissing me. “I love you,” He said in between kisses.

“Just think about how we will be in Michigan soon. How you”ll be in my dorm bed with your legs spread.”

“Terry stop,” I scolded blinking away the tears. He laughed.

“You love me?” he asked.

“I always will.”

“Then will you do me a big favor?”

“What is it?”

“Call my Dad after they put me under and let him know what’s going on.”

“He is going to kill me Terry!”

“Please?”

“I don’t know why you didn’t just tell him.”

“He wouldn’t have wanted me to do it.”

“Fine, he’s going to beat your ass when you wake up.”

“I know!” I just laughed at him.
