getting to the hotel after our plane ride was fine. LA is super busy but surprisingly there wasn't that much traffic.
we pull up into the hotel and it honestly looks pretty nice. there are a ton of floors but the one at the top looks like its a two story!
"get your bag, alexa," dad says waking me up from my trance.
i get my bags and head up to the room. looking around i see that the other family isn't here yet. i pick a pretty good sized room that has a mini fridge and a tv.
i just get settled in as i hear shouting and yelling. it's pretty muffled but i just make out,
"shut up before i shove my cat up your mouth and suffocate you, wolfhard."
uh i probably didn't hear that right.
the door opens up and i see first a single adult and like 7 kids around my age. the first one who comes in looks like a small fred savage with anger issues. he keeps screaming and it's pretty entertaining not gonna lie. the second is a taller boy who has curly brown hair. he's the one that catches my attention. his eyes are gorgeous and he just looks effortless..-"
"who are you?" fred savage boy yells at me.
"alexa. also, i'm right here so you can stop yelling at me because i'm not planning to go deaf this trip."
"wait wait wait. alexa? like that amazon thi-"
"don't call me amazon echo or i'll cut your tongue out."
the boy looks me right in the eye and says, "spicy. i like it."
i raise my eyebrows and laugh. hey maybe this won't be so bad after all.
he introduces me to himself and everyone else.
turns out that one curly haired boys name is finn.
together we explore our rooms and figure out who is going where. turns out that there isn't enough room for everyone so we have to share. the parents go in one room and we go into four others. i'm sharing with sophia. she's super nice and we click right away. we both put our stuff away and just sit on our bed and talk for awhile while the boys are settling in.
"those boys are a handful aren't they," she laughs.
"quite something from the bit i've seen." i reply back.
"so what brings you here?" she asked me.
"well my dad brought me and my mom because he has some sort of work thing going on. i'm not really sure why i had to come but oh well. what about you?"
"well we have this little group thing i guess. we call ourselves the losers club. don't ask me about the name they made it up." she laughs. "but we just wanted a break from everything that's going on back at home. we are all actors and we were going to audition for this movie."
"no way! i actually am an actor as well. i mean obviously not professional yet but that's the dream." i said.
" you should totally come back with us and audition!"
"oh my god i would love to, that would be so fun!"
we got interrupted by the boys coming into our room.
"jaeden and wyatt just went down to go get ice cream. you guys wanna come?" chosen asked.
"yes!" we both said at the same time.
"we'll get ready," sophia says nodding to me.
we tried not to take too long. i threw on some high waisted ripped jeans and cropped yellow sweater. i fixed up my a makeup just a little bit and put some earrings in. we walked down to go meet the "losers" or whatever they called themselves.
"hey guys!" i smiled.
"hi lex"
"heyyy"
we all got up to get our icecream. i got plain vanilla and got a few toppings. jack was behind me and apparently taking forever.
"oh my lord grazer can you take any longer?"
"why don't you shut the fuck up baby girl i'm taking my time"
eventually everyone got their ice cream and we sat down at a huge table by the door. i kept catching finn stare at me. i kind of liked it though.
"take a picture it lasts longer," i joked.
"s-sorry, you just look beautiful"
"thanks finn.." i swear i felt my cheeks excited explode.
of course jack wouldn't let that comment fly.
"excuse me ma'am? are you cheating on me? i really just bought you ice cream and you treat me like this? wow. disrespectful. i will never let you treat me like this ever again. never on my watch. no no no."
"grazer shut up we aren't even dating honey"
"honey??? did you just call me honey after what you just said? unacceptable."
it continued like that for like ten minutes while the other losers freaked out and tried to come up with a ship name for me and finn. i just sat there completely embarrassed and watched everything play out.
"wait no not linn that's stupid!" wyatt yelled at jaeden
"yes linn it's simple!" jaeden yelled back
"guys. what about flex," chosen smirked
"YES YESYES!" jeremy practically screamed
"nO wait what about flexinn?" sophia offered too
"OH MY GOD I LOVE IT" jack chimed into the conversation randomly
finn and i just facepalmed and tried to ignore them fangirling over something that hasn't even happened yet.
"you guys are the dumbest people i have ever met," i said
"but you love us," jack winked at me
"i'm gonna kill you"
