"Can you believe this is actually happening?" The brunette squealed as she dashed into the hotel room that she would be sharing with her best friend for the night. Ophelia laughed at her friend, tugging her suitcase behind her. The room wasn't perfect, but it would do. The two of them would be staying in trailers for the next six months anyway. Closing the door behind her, a smile spread across Ophelia's lips. Someone needed to pinch her because this was beyond real.
"No, not really." Ophelia said, her fingers ghosting across the wallpaper as she walked into the room more, leaving her suitcase behind and dropping her phone on one of the beds, her way of claiming it. She was in hot and sticky Atlanta, but yet, she found herself getting chills. She grabbed Sierra's hand, pulling her over to herself, the two embracing in a hug. When they let go, they both couldn't hold back their laughter as they cracked up.
"Script read-through tomorrow, and trailer move in day." Ophelia reminded her friend, who did seem to forget things here and there. Sierra brushed her hair back into a messy bun of dark hair, a few strands hanging loosely, a faint smirk on her lips.
"You know what that means then 'Ophie." She said, using Ophelia's real nickname, which was basically Sophie without the 'S'. She preferred this nickname much more than 'Fifi.' Sending the girl a warning glare, Ophelia watched as she flopped back onto the bed.
"We actually get a good night's sleep and we don't trash everything?" The dirty blonde questioned, more of a beg really. She really wanted to make a good impression in front of the cast and crew. Marvel was a big deal to her. She had grown up around two older brothers who were addicted to everything super hero related, so she had grown to love it as well.
"No we have the best sleepover ever." Sierra said, causing Ophelia to stick out her bottom lip in a pout. The brunette grabbed a pillow and threw it over at Ophelia, clearly trying to get her to lighten up, but how could she? All of their sleepovers, since day one, which was when the two nineteen year olds were seven, had started off normal, which the two giggling and talking, but then as soon as the clock struck twelve, Ophelia got some odd second wind of energy, and then the two usually pulled an all-nighter.
"C'mon girlie, it'll be fun. We can do a Q&A on twitter or something!" Sierra insisted, standing up and tugging on her best friends hands like a whiny toddler. Ophelia's pout remained, adding a small whine for a better impact. She really wanted to make a good impression, but Sierra was working her way into her brain.
"Fine! But I hate you for this." She said and Sierra's grin returned.
"So what now?" Sierra said, "We can't unpack because we would just have to pack everything up again in the morning."
"I'm sure we'll find something to do. I mean, c'mon, dynamic duo over here. We never run out of fun things to do." Ophelia reassured her friend as she unzipped her suitcase and grabbed some of the necessities she would need. Her pajamas for the night, her outfit for tomorrow, which she stressed about for the past week, and her toiletries. Zipping the black suitcase closed, she stuffed it in the hotel's closet, closing the door after.
"How about food?" Sierra said, pulling her sneakers off and putting them down on the ground.
"Didn't you pack like, seven billion snacks?" Ophelia said, quirking her eyebrow at her friend.
"Uh yeah, I ate them all. What else am I supposed to do on a plan ride?" Sierra said, grabbing a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. Ophelia physically cringed at the sight of sweatpants.
"Have fun sweating boo." She said, taking her own shorts and tank top so she could change. After they both did, Sierra looked down at the hotel phone.
"Should I?" She said, casting a longing gaze at Ophelia. "I don't know how good room service will be." The brunette continued. Ophelia knew the real reason.
"I'll call." She muttered, standing too her feet as her friend celebrated softly to herself.
"Tomorrow can't come any sooner." Ophelia whispered to herself as she picked up the phone.
