"I think I would be pretty good at stand up comedy." A familiar voice chimed in Saige's ear as she walked across a rooftop, her eyes examining the streets below.

"Mmm, sure." Saige whispered, knowing her friend could pick up her mumble. She sped up and leaped across the gap and onto the next rooftop.

"Shakey on the landing there Saigie." Beth teased, her eyes scanning the screens in front of her, which she, of course, had hacked into. "Getting sleepy?"

"You try doing this shit." She hissed, steadying herself and continuing. She was exhausted to say the least. If Saige had to guess, it had to be around two in the morning. Thank god it was Friday night and she had gotten all her homework done. She tightened her black mask a little more before taking another short burst of energy to run and jump. "Any hostiles?" She asked Cyber, too lazy to check for her self.

"You're good sweaty." Cyber said, toying with a pen as she leaned back in her spinny chair. "Oh! Sorry, autocorrect. Sweetie."

"This is a verbal conversation Cyb." Karma hissed as she landed, better this time.

"What- kkrrrr- you're bre- krrrrrk- ing up." Bethany teased and Karma nearly ripped her earpiece out of her head.

"I like you when you actually act like an extra pair of eyes." She said as she jumped down from a roof and onto an apartment's balcony. "Maybe you should put the music back on, it makes me feel more badass."

"Incoming, cop car on your ten o'clock. Two in." Bethany said, sitting up straighter and opening up her hacking program, beginning to type furiously. She finally was able to connect and pull up the inner cam in the cop car, checking them both in her facial recognition program.

"I got eyes on them, still unnoticed. Got an ID?" Karma whispered, slinking back slightly to hide from the vehicles' high beams.

"Uh... An Officer Bradly Smith and Officer Frank Daley." Bethany said, checking the other cams to see her friend had managed to camouflage herself into the shadows.

"Mhm, no threat then." Cops usually didn't mess with her since they realized that she was actually doing them good, but if it was her father, she was screwed. She had overheard that he was taking a night shift tonight, so she was being extra careful.

"Think it's time to clock in?" Beth said as her friend climbed out of the shadows. Saige gave a quick nod, knowing her friend could see her. In response, Beth opened her Spotify account and clicked play on the two of them's combined playlist.

"No! I hate this song!" Saige snapped, picking up her pace to a jog.

"Ohhh nooooo, how did this song get on the playlist? Whatttt?" Bethany said before slowly muting Saige's com.

"Suck my ass you fucking neon pink broken crayon." Saige said before her com went completely mute.

"Sucks to suck." Bethany hummed before toying with her headset, closing some of her tabs and going back to her other project, hacking S.H.I.E.L.D. The two know that they were hiding stuff from the public, so they always try to find out what it is.

Picking up her pace, Saige found herself running down the sidewalk. her black boots barely made a sound as she streaked past, sometimes catching a blur of her reflection in the windows of the stores on the streets. Her brunette hair whipped behind her and she smiled ever so slightly. This was freedom. In her right hand, she gripped a short silver staff, which would extend if she needed it to. On her hip was a yellow whip, which had the ability to shock those of she wished. Her suit was black leather, a tight catsuit that accented her few curves. She spent a lot of her allowance on the suit, and was always pissed as hell when it ripped, which happened here and there.
