It's now been a week since I broke things off with Braylen. It's been hard because little things like him always being available when I was bored, or just him carrying my books I miss the most because I didn't realize how much he did for me until he stopped doing them. I've been hanging out with Kaydee a lot and studying a lot too.
Right now I'm headed to 7th period, It's the Friday before Spring Break, I still miss Braylen walking me to all my classes. I walk into the room and take my seat and I get out my notebook and write, Friday March 19. I feel a tapping on my back and turn around.
"What Tripp," I ask him.
"What's the date?" He asks.
"It's on the bored, can you not read?" I say pointing with my pen.
"Man that was harsh," He says. I turn back around and continue writing the notes that are on the board.
After class I'm walking out to my car and I can hear Tripp behind me. I try walking faster and that doesn't work because he's way faster then me.
"You don't have to be a bitch all the time you know?" He says walking beside me now. I ignore him until I get out to my car, he's still following me, I get in my car and try to shut the door but he grabs it, "Seriously Bella, what have I ever done to you?" He asks.
"Nothing Tripp, let go of my door," I tell him, reaching for it but his grip is held strong on the frame.
"Then why do you not like me so much?" He asks again.
"Let go of my door!" I shout and he does, I shut it and turn on the car. I drive away and I know he's staring at my car because I can see him out my mirror. I don't pay attention to him and just drive.
Once I'm home I go upstairs and chill for a bit. I turn on The Office and watch that for a long time until my parents get home. I go downstairs and ask what's for dinner.
"Chicken soup," my mom says while opening the fridge.
"Okay, how long until it'll be ready?" I ask.
"About 30 minutes Bella," she says pulling the broth out of the fridge. I nod my head and go back upstairs. I walk into my room and scream so loud I swear the neighbors could hear it when I see Tripp sitting at my desk.
"Bella, are you okay?" My mom asks from the stairs.
"Yeah, I'm fine mom," I say and turn back towards Tripp, "Seriously Tripp?! How did you even get in here?" I shout at him.
"It was easy I just climbed up the side of the vines outside of your window and popped right in," He explains.
"So you thought it would be appropriate to break into my room and scare me to death?" I ask him, getting very angry.
"No, I came to break you out of this place and get you to come to this party tonight at Haylie's house," he says and I scoff at him.
"What makes you think that I would go anywhere with you?" I ask him.
"Well, one, because it'll be a lot of fun, and two, because everyone is going," He answers both of my questions.
I grab my phone and turn it on to check it. I see I've gotten 5 messages from Kaydee asking if I'm going. I contemplate the pros and cons of going.
Cons: I'd have to go with Tripp.
Pros: I'd get to see Kaydee and I'd have fun.
"So, what do you say?" He asks getting up from my desk chair.
"Alright," I say giving in, "But, I have to eat dinner first and you have to bring me back when I want to come back," I say laying down some rules, "And no funny business," I add.
