I can't shake Qing Lan image from my head. She is the first one actually treat me harshly. She stares right in my eyes, she points her finger to me, she accused me, she even argue with me. After living for 20 years, finally I met someone who dare to go against me.
"Your highness.. Minister Wen is here." The eunuch notify me humbly over the door.
"Let him in." I reply.
I close the book I was reading as Wen Hai bow fully to me. I gesture the eunuch to leave us alone.
"Long life your highness."
"Drop it Wen Hai. I don't need your formal greeting."
"My apologize your highness." He bows again.
"How can I help you?"
Wen Hai still have his head bow down to me. Although I ask him to treat me equally when we are alone, he never cross the boundary. For him, I'm the respected crow prince, the next emperor. He will never drop my title fully.
"The education department need more material your highness. The book we have are not enough to feed the scholar need." He speaks in his most humble voice.

"Wen Hai.." His name roll gently from my tongue.
"Yes your highness." He answer humbly again its annoy me.
"Raise your head." I speak in my authority voice.
This time he bows down the floor. "I would not dare."
"Raise your head.." I command.
"Your highness.." He bow again.
"Why you always treat me like this? Its enough having other treat me as the crow prince, I don't want you my friend give me the same treatment."
"I wouldn't dare."
"Wen Hai.."
"Please Your highness.."
He is the example of hardworking govement official. I trust him with my life enough to drop my title for him. I always wanted for friend and I'm grateful Minister Wen and General Ming are people I can trust.
"I'll sent more material to the academy. As for now, lets visit the academy to list the book they want."
"Thank you for the concern your highness. I appreciate it but its better if I go and list it myself."
"I'll go with you. I'm have nothing to do."
"Your highness.."
I raise my hand and he close his mouth imediately. Wen Hai still protest the time we leave the royal palace heading to his manor.
I take off my royal robe and change to something more common to my people. I just want to walk freely with out the royal guard tailing me behind. Actually, I'm ditching the guard.
"Arr.. Wen Hai..!" Qing Lan shouts across us in the busy alley.
Small smile crawl in my lips looking at her. She still savage with her arrogant guts. Qing Ming is standing beside her, holding her sister sleeve prevent her from reaching me.
"Miss Qing..pleasure meeting you here." Wen Hai with his never ending courtesy toward other first react to the scene.
"Likewise my lord."
Qing Lan imediately frown toward her sister and pull away her sleeve. "Likewise? Since when you're this friendly with him?"
"Don't start Lan." Qing Ming warns her.
"Jezz.. you are not fun." The little sister sulk. She turn to Wen Hai and smile goofily at him. "What are you doing here?"
"We are on our way to the ---"
"Sightseeing." I cut Wen Hai sentence before he could leak out my real identity.
He imediately corrected himself. "Yes.. sightseeing."
"There's nothing fun here. Do you want to come with us? We are going to play."
Qing Lan unexpected offer amuse me. If she know whose she talking to, would she still act bravely like this? Wen Hai looks at me, waiting for my command but I could tell he doesn't want me to say yes.
"It would't hurt to try." I glance at Wen Hai when he sigh heavily at my answer.
"Not you.. just him." But Qing Lan amaze we with her another idiot bravely. This time she taps my chest telling me she doesn't want me to join.
Of course Wen Hai almost faint seeing the sinful scene. I crack a laugh because she really is amusing.
"We come in package." I smirk.
Qing Lan looks at me disbelief. "I like Wen Hai more. You really irritating."
Qing Ming pull her sister away from me and pinch her. "Don't talk like that."
"Why should I lie just to be polite? I didn't live to please him. He is irritating and arrogant. I just stating the fact."
The elderst sister imediately bows down few time and apologize non stop. I feel sorry for her. She is the first born so her responsibility is higher.
"You are very welcome to join. My sister is being grumpy right now." Qing Ming speak politely.
"I'm not." She butt in then look right in my eyes. "I let you join because I want Wen Hai to comes with me."
She walks ahead leading us as her sister walk beside her. I take my step then Wen Hai wisper in my ear.
"Your highness.. I don't think this is a good idea."
I give him a smile to reasure him. "Notify general Ming. Tell him to come." I oder.
Wen Hai call his servant and tell my oders. The young man run in the crowd to complete his master instruction. I walk faster to catch up with the Qing sister. I wonder, what she'll show me today.
