one day in my class we had a discussion on murderers
what goes in their head
drives them to the edge
one of the girls in my class had said
"not everyone with a mental illness kills, so mental illness shouldn't be an excuse"
i thought to myself,
"well isn't anyone that kills messed up in the head"
then i think of history
how easy it once was to have a man kill a man
ruthlessly
how common murders were and the hate that accompanied with it
mercilessly
we see them as messed up now
but the truth is that over time society's morals have changed
so that murder is far from reasonable
far from how accepted it used to be
so is it still possible
for a "normal" person
no disabilities
to kill?
