The Earth and It's Creatures.

I would've drowned.

I almost thanked you for
Teaching me how to survive on my own,
That I don't need a man.
But then I realized that the
Ocean never gave me the gift of
Learning how to swim.
I gave it to myself,
& without it,
I would've drowned.
