tell the moon.

If I could talk to the Moon.

I'd tell her she's beautiful.

I'd give her the stars and their dazzling glory.

I'd tell her that even the most dazzling things of all soon fade.

That there's beauty in everything,
even the rocks that make her up.

That even rocks can have crystals inside.

I'd tell her she's the most dazzling of all the things afloat in space.

I'd tell her she's a supernova of rock and dust.

I'd show her how she is needed.

I'd give her the sun.

And show her how the sun is just another star.

I'd tell her she's unique and prove it.

If only talking to the Moon was that easy.

But since I can't, I show you.

In hopes that she sees.

Because just like the Moon

You're beautiful, to me.
