Chapter 3: Nice Hotel
"Hay Star. Glad to see you made it to the city ok."(Suzi)
"Hi boss. What brings you here?"(Star)
There standing in front of the hotel is my boss wearing a white shirt, skinny jeans, and flip flops. Her black and white hair is in a ponytail and her black wings are curled around her to form a makeshift cape. She may have a smile on her face and her eyes have a joyful light in them, but I know she is looking past me toward the homeless child who has been following me from a distance for the last few minutes. He is about 3 and a half feet tall with pale skin, brown eyes and black hair. He had torn brown cloth for a shirt and torn black jeans. He had no shoes and was bleeding from the bottom of his feet. Not wanting to get caught in the crossfire between these two I walked away from the buildings I was next to and stopped half way from where the kid and my boss were. I positioned myself a little to the right of the center of the street to allow my boss to have a better view of him, and to allow me to dive out of the way more easily if a fight breaks out.
"I didn't tell you? I'm getting married in the old church down the street from here. Also don't call me boss Star. We aren't in the office so just call me mom or Suzi ok."(Suzi)
"Ok and first off can I have an invitation to the wedding? I always wanted to go to one. Secondly, you wouldn't happen to be the same Suzi like in..."(Star)
"Yes I am."(Suzi)
"But how! You look almost identical to how you're described by Narrator!"(Star)
"Demons and Angels are immortal remember. We can't die unless we are killed. You are also invited to my wedding. I mean why wouldn't you be? Now come on inside, you look like you got here recently and are in desperate need of a shower. Don't worry about paying for the room ok, since you are on a job it is payed for by the company. Now tell me. Where are you in the story?"(Suzi)
"I just met the the Devil and the Heaven and Hell competitions are about to start. Thanks for the invitation by the way."(Star)
"Your welcome."(Suzi)
"I was just wondering. Why do you refer to the events in history as a story, rather than history?"(Star)
"For the same reason that old people tell their grandchildren things from their past and call them stories. By the way since you are here, we are sharing a room."(Suzi)
"Why are we sharing a room?"(Star)
"Simple. You basically get free lodging and I don't want to pay for a room."(Suzi)
"Fair enough. Now you wouldn't happen to know how to reach the arena from here would you? The one in this city, not the one in Hell."(Star)
"Why did you say it like that?.........There is an arena about 3 hours northeast of here if you're traveling on foot. Why do you ask?"(Suzi)
"I just want to check something."(Star)
"If you say so. Let's go inside. I want to sleep and you need a shower. I mean seriously! When was the last time you bathed?"(Suzi)
"Two weeks ago."(star)
'Look of disappointment' "You need to take better care of your body Star. You never know when having a clean body will save your life."(Suzi)
With that being said, Suzi turned around and walked into the hotel. The hotel is a tall multi story building. It has nine medium sized windows going from left to right starting on the second floor, and eleven windows going up from there. The bottom floor only has a large black double door, with two large dark brown wooden crickets on either side of it. The rims of their legs seem to be made out of metal and the eyes are emerald green. The hotel is a puke green color, and has a white sign over the door that says...
"Jiminy's Provence The place where even the most unwanted of people can stay, if they can pay"
"I feel like I've heard that name before."(Star)
