Rayne pov

I know most of y'all think that I abandoned Angel. But really I didn't. I went to spend some extra time with Micah. I mean honestly I didn't do it on purpose. I didn't even notice I was doing it till I realized I haven't seen her in almost 3 days and we live in the same house. I mean yea I'm barely there but most of my clothes is there so I guess it's still my house.  I've been with Micah so much it's like I live with his family. No it what y'all think yo girl is still a capital V the card has not been swiped. Me and Micah don't believe that we need a title or at least that what I keep telling myself to make it seem like I'm not wasting my time. I'm over his house all the time. I have clothes there. They even started to leave me a space in the pantry for just my snacks. And the snacks that are supposed to be Micah's that I not so secretly steel. I honestly don't know where Micah and I stand as fair as relationships we wouldn't use that word to describe us. I mean we're more like bestfriends.
"Rayne come on listen." Micah said pushing me out of my my thoughts.
"I'm listening." I say beginning to listen to what he was saying.

"So my team has the ball. To take it from me you press X button and run like how I taught you." He said still looking at the screen.
See right now he thinks I'm learning to play 2k18 but honestly it's the most complicated thing ever and I've taken Ap computer science and tutored people in when I was only in 10th grade come on now.
"Micah can we talk." I say slowly putting the controller down.
"Um yea sure what's up." He says giving me his full attention and looking me in my eyes to see if I'm serious.
"I don't wanna be one of those girls to say "what are we" but you say we don't need a title but having a title would be a little reassuring to know that I'm not wasting my time. Or just playing games with you. I honestly need to know if whatever were doing is going to end up being something more or is it just another game to you. I really like spending time with you but if we're just gonna be friends playing with each other's feelings I can waste my time with some else. But don't get me wrong I really do like what ever this is were doing. But I kinda wanna know I mean if we're just gonna continue doing what ever this is just let me know cause you might need to go back to the store and get some more snacks cause if we playing games I need to be on a full stomach and I need to know that food is on demand for when I go on a snack rant. I'm not saying y'all don't have food though cause y'all do but we both know I'll eat-" I say kinda rambling on about nothing.
"Rayne sit down. And breathe." Micah says while holding my arms down to my side. And cutting me off.
"Rayne look what ever we are I never really sat down and thought that we not having a title would be a problem with you. I know what we are and I thought you did to. I can understand that you need some reassurance and here it is. Rayne if I wanted to waste time it wouldn't be with some one as smart as you. Don't forget I'm the one you we're tutoring." He says with a smile. I quickly laugh and he pulls me in for a hug.
"Rayne I know how you feel and now I see that you don't know how I feel. So let me tell you Rayne I don't like the "L" word and I know your not ready to hear it. But just know I'm not as far as I used to be from saying it. I always loved you but now it's deeper then being just my friend. But I really think that our feelings should be kept our feelings and let the outside world not matter." Micah says as he gently touches  my face. And I melt into his gently touch against my smooth skin. I hate that he has this effect on me but it isn't anything new. I would do any thing for this man and I'm not even his girl.
"Micah I don't wanna just ditch you but I have to go handle something." I say then rush out the door and run home. I quickly bust through the door and saw Angel sitting on jadin's lap in the kitchen. So I quickly do a quick fake cough to let them know I'm here.
"Angel I need to talk to you." I say then walk up the stairs. A few minutes later I can feel her enter my room.
"What the hell why is he here?" I say a little angry.
"What you mean why?" She says with a lot of attitude.
"Angel I thought we had an agreement about him you said y'all were done." I say looking her dead in her eyes.
"Look Rayne don't come up in partially my house and tell me who should be in it. You only come here when your tired of seeing micah and lately that hasn't been a lot of time." Angel says looking highly upset with me. And I can't really blame her I'm never home and neither is mom and dad I'm practically all she has left.
" I get that mom and dad always have to be gone! but you don't! So you don't get to tell me what to do!" She yells then walks away closing the door behind her.
