After putting rayne out of my room. I got a text from Jadin.
Him: I left earlier didn't mean to ditch you but rayne seemed heated to see me. Maybe we can hang out tonight how's dinner???
After reading his text I had a slight smile on my face.
Me: umm sure just let me know what time it's almost 6 now how about u pick me up at 7
Him: sure you better be ready too you always late
Me: shut up and let me get dressed!😂 I quickly put my phone down and walked to my bathroom and turned on my shower. I could hear rayne downstairs doing who knows what. But there was another voice no doubt it's probably Micah again I swear they make me sick. I quickly got in the shower and washed up twice and wet my hair so it would curl up. I got out after 20 minutes and started to put on lotion. When my phone started to blast all of us by June's diary so I knew it was rayne calling but I honestly didn't have time to answer so I just let it ring. I walked to my closet and decided to put on something that's cute but still comfortable since I don't know where we're going. Once I finished getting dressed I put a little of my baby powder roll on perfume and some such a flirt perfume. Once I was done I just fluffed my hair out and grabbed my phone and purse then walked downstairs. Once I got down there I got a text from jadin.
Him:are you ready or do u need another hour???!
Me: nice try but I'm actually ready this time sir.
Him: ok I'm on the way u better be ready too😂
I had made it down the stairs already and was walking to the kitchen and there stood the two people I didn't think I would see for a long time. My mother and father. And they were just cooking and talking like they didn't just appear out of no where! "Oh good your dressed mom and dad thought we should have a family dinner you would've known if you answered your phone when I called" rayne said with a hint of attitude. I tried not to pay any attention to her remark. "Well that's to bad because I have a date tonight and I'd rather be with him then y'all right now." I said then was about to walk out the door. "Miangel Marie brown if you don't drop that attitude and come and properly ask your mother and I if you can be excused to go." My father said with a tone that screamed he was angry. "See dad here's the problem with that all three of you have been gone for the same time and didn't even bother to tell me you were coming or what you were doing. Now mom and dad with all due respect I love you both but next time you plan to have a family moment make sure you have all your family in tact to where we can actually stand each other. Cause yea rayne may be my twin but lately she hasn't been my sister. And on that note I gotta go don't wanna leave my date waiting." "I'm sorry Angel but your just going to have to tell Mateo that you can't make it." My father said walking behind me. "Me and Mateo broke up a LONG time ago shows how much you really pay attention and don't worry I won't be coming home tonight." I say then walk out the door and get in Jadin's car. He could see the pain,hurt, and anger in my face. But I could tell he was thinking about if he wanted to ask about it or not. "I can feel you looking at me and I can feel you thinking about what to say so right now imma just tell you. My mom and dad are home and think we should spend "quality family time" but honestly I don't wanna be around any of them. Now this is the last time we're gonna talk about it cause I don't want it to ruin our night." I said then looked at him with a smile. He looked at me and smiled back. "Ok then we won't talk about it till your ready." He said. "Oh and by the way I'm staying at your house tonight I can't be that house with them." I said. He quickly just chuckled and said a quick ok. "We have to go back to my house though unless I can finesse your clothes for the night here's a little tip if I wear them you most likely won't get them back." I say then laugh. He starts to laugh with me and we continued to drive. "Hey where are we going?" I said looking out the window. "Just enjoy the ride till we get there." He says I quickly set his seat back and stared to drift off. I don't really care what we do I just want to spend time with someone that isn't going to drive me crazy. As my thoughts started to cloud my mind I drifted off to sleep. ************************************* "Angel wake up what you want to eat?" Jadin said waking me up. I quickly sit up and see where at in and out burger. Now I'm not a picky girl but this place is the best and all but I'm not sure if I'm counting this as a date. "I want a combo #1 with no mayo or tomato's and instead of a soda I want a chocolate shake with whipped cream. And two cherries on top!" I say then start to pull back up the seat. We pull back around and got our food. After we got our food we started to drive again in a short time and 6 fries later.(yes I am one of those people who eat the fries out the bag before I get home) we pulled up to this house that was the same size as mine. He got out the car and opened up the front door. We walked through the house to the back yard. That over looked the whole city it looked beautiful. I sat the food down while he stared to set up a movie screen. "I remember you saying that you loved the high school musical series so I bought them all." He said and showed me the movies. He popped in the first one and we sat down and started to eat our food and watch the movies. I guess this is a date after all but I would've sill counted as one if it was just us getting food. I think I'm falling for this lil light skin boy I mean can y'all blame me.
