i slammed my pinky on the corner of my bedside table, biting my lip to contain my tears that could burst through at any moment. bearing with the pain, i proceed walking to my closet, i wanna look good for taehyung tonight... an unknowing smile makes its way to my face just thinking about it. i snap out of it realizing that last time i checked it was 7:13 which meant i had limited time to get beautiful. i didn't want to make it seem like i was trying too hard but i also didn't wanna look like i just rolled out of the trash, after about five minutes of stress i finally just decided to be casual since it's just the movies but with a touch of elegance.

i finish with spraying some perfume on myself and check the time, 8:42. phew, just barely made it. as if on cue there's a knock on my door, i look at myself once more in the mirror before nodding in approval.
"ready to go jo- whoa." taehyung stares me up and down with his mouth wide, my cheeks flush making me thankful i didn't put on blush because god knows i certainly don't need it when i'm with taehyung. i take the time to examine him as well, he looks like a work of art per the norm.
