taehyung's pov

after dinner, i went home with a burning desire in my heart, my little sunshine joy, her name says it all. she's my joy. only mine. i kick off my shoes and go to my basement, where all the magic happens. i hear whimpering coming from the cage as i flip the switch.

"hello sooyoung my dear, wanna play?" i smile crazily.  chains rattle and cries respond causing me to roll my eyes "well you're no fun."  i kick the cage and walk to the table in the center of the room and sharpen my favorite blade, stainless steel with little engravings reading 'valar morghulis' meaning 'all men must die'  i hear her muffled screams making me glare at her to be quiet.

"quiet whore, we have a new neighbor and i don't wanna mess this up with her when you're making so much noise. you're lucky i can't get rid of you just yet. grandma is visiting soon and you have to be a good girl if you want to live alright sister?" i say grabbing her face with my hand and caressing her dirty skin with my blade.

i hear a knock from upstairs making me snap my head up and then back down to sooyoung, i place my finger on my lips quietly signaling her to be quiet and walk upstairs putting my blade in my back pocket in case it's unwanted company. the door knocks again and this time i hear mumbling making my shoulders relax when i recognize the sweet voice. wait. why is she mumbling? who is she with? i swing the door open with a glare but it turns into confusion when i see joy beginning to walk away.

"joy?" i question and she turns around with red cheeks and her legs are clad with short unicorn pajamas i smile a little at how innocent she looked.
"um, hi taehyung, i know you just left but i- uh... you left your jacket" she burns with a deep shade of red.

"i wasn't wearing a jacket?" i close mouth smile at her, she's so cute.
"uh, you weren't? oh well nice talking to you bye!" I chuckle and before she can go anywhere i grab her wrist gently "wanna come in?" her little eyes widen and she nods slowly. i close the door behind us and lock it just in case something happens and she tries to run. i lead her into the living room which is the same shape as hers seeing as almost all the complex has similar rooms. we sit on the couch and i offer her some hot chocolate sooyoung had made the other day, i let her out sometimes after all she is my sister even if she is a dirty back alley whore.

i go into the kitchen and heat it up on the stove. i bring it back to where joy is seated nervously with red tip ears. she smiles shyly "thank you" i nod ans she takes a sip.
"so why are you really here?" she chokes on her drink and i immediately pat her back, once she calms down she puts her mug on the coffee table and fiddles with her fingers
"well i-" she stops when a huge bang is heard from the basement and loud whimpers. i panic thinking of an excuse for the question that's bound to come "what was that??" she stands up and backs away. oh no... i quickly open the drawer that's next to the couch and grab a syringe joy's eyes widen and she tries to run muttering to herself "omg" she gets to the door and slams against it desperately trying to unlock it with shaky fingers i grab her from behind and effortlessly push the needle in her neck, until i feel her muscles slowly loosen and she falls into my arms i drag her to her apartment and tuck her into bed kissing her forehead "i'm sorry my love, you won't remember this in the morning."
i close joy's door behind me making sure it's locked and let out a huge sigh, i walk into my apartment with a determined look on my face, now to deal with the wench.
