It is Saturday the day of the date you were in your room getting ready you had a nice suit marco was taking you guys to another dimension for the date finally you were done you got a text from marco

Marco: "hey (y/n) are you ready?"

Y/n: "yea man just got done"

Marco: "cool star is almost done I'll rip a portal when she is done ok?"

Y/n: "got ya bro"

You sat down on the couch and began to flip your butterfly knife then you hear a voice

Alice: "still with the knife thing huh? Somethings never change"

You got a bit scared you dropped the knife you looked up to see your sister you grabbed the knife again

Y/n: "i thought you went to work"

Alice: "I got the day off someone spilled coffee all over my computer and there were no spares but never mind me you look handsome star is going to be amazed"

You dropped the knife again your cheeks were red

Y/n: "how do you know about that?!"

Alice: "your best friend marco ratted you out"

Y/n: "that gossipy punk"

Alice: "come on man why you mad? Don't you want to date star?"

Y/n: "yea but she is not my girlfriend i want her to be my girlfriend"

Alice sits down next to you

Alice: "well brother the only thing I can say is try we had this conversation before didnt we? Why not try tonight?"

Y/n: "i don't know Alice for some reason tonight doesn't feel right but there is a party on mewni tomorrow it's in honor of me and marco fighting for mewni"

Alice: "let me guess your going to try aren't you?"

You smiled

Y/n: "you know me so well sister"

Out of nowhere a portal opens up and marco pops out of it

Marco: "thanks i was going to use it for a dance a while back but I never went"

Y/n: "oh yea we all went to the cemetery for bon bon the clown then ludo attacked"

Marco: "yea I was going to ask out jackie to the dance but I chickened out"

Y/n: "eh don't feel bad man i heard the dance sucked apparently they forgot to cancel the basketball game"

You both chuckled

Marco: "are you ready?"

Y/n: "Ready then I'll ever be by the way why are we going to another dimension?"

Marco: "jackie saw that I was using my dimensional scissors and she said asked if we could go to another dimension"

Y/n: "wow ok you really trying to sweep her off her feet aren't you"

Marco chuckled

Y/n: "come on lets go"

You and marco were walking to the portal but before you go through it you stop marco stopped as well
