A COUPLE DAYS LATE - LATE AT NIGHT

Nicki was laid in bed reminiscing about how life used to be years ago, it was so good why did she have to ruin it? she didn't mean to but it just happened.

Suddenly, her phone rang and without looking at the caller ID she accepted it.

N: Hello?

She said sadly

B: Hey Nicki

Nicki frowned and sat up quickly

N: Beyoncé?

B: yeah I um... got your number from Giselle, hope you don't mind

N: no it's fine, um... what's up?

B: well... you know how you said at the hospital that you'd be there if I needed you?

N: mhm

Nicki nodded.

B: I... I kinda need you right now... that is if you're not too busy?

N: no I'm not so... you want me to come over?

B: yeah, I'll text you my address

N: okay Bye B

B: Bye

they ended the call and Nicki had the biggest smile on her face and looked up.

N: thank you thank you thank you!!!

She shot out of bed and got ready and when she was ready she saw a text from Beyoncé telling her the address. She got into her car and went over.

BEYONCÉ'S HOUSE

Nicki knocked on the door and within seconds Beyoncé opened it, she looked kind of sad but when she looked up and saw Nicki she smiled. It was becoming more obvious that she wanted her back and Beyoncé didn't want to hide it from herself anymore. Nicki saw how her face lit up once Beyoncé saw her and that made her happier.

B: Hey, come in

N: Thanks

Nicki followed her in and closed the door behind her. Beyoncé just walked to her bedroom and Nicki followed her without asking questions. Beyoncé offered her to sit and Nicki sat on her bed with Beyoncé sitting on the other side.

N: so what's up?

Beyoncé sighed and looked down not knowing how to say it.

B: I've just... I've been thinking about you lately and... I miss you, you probably know I do and um... I just wanted to see you.

she said nervously playing with her fingers. Nicki moved closer to her making Beyoncé look at her.

N: I miss you too... and again I'm sorry for ruining everything.

Nicki said getting emotional. She looked down and bit her lip to stop her tears from filling her eyes.

B: I never really gave you a chance to explain yourself and I'm sorry for that

N: It's okay I understand that you were mad, you had every right to be... But can I explain now?

Beyoncé nodded and Nicki sighed.

N: that night we were fighting, I left to clear my head. I was supposed to come home that night I was only gonna go for a drive. When I got in the car one of my friends, Thembi invited me to the club, I was so mad that I thought fuck it I'll go to the club, have a good time and come home when I'm less mad. When I got to the club I spent a long time there and I got very drunk to the point where I... did what I did... after that, I got to the nearest hotel and spent the night there.
