"W-what?...Oh yea sure" you said while chuckling "anyway I should get going" You grabbed your things and left.

Time skip

You just got in class and took a seat. You looked over at Shikadai and saw him sleeping with his arms crossed behind his head. "Mm he's probably trying to pretend I don't exist today ever since he confessed to me" You thought while glaring at him

Shikadai opened his right eye looking at you in the corner of his eye then sighing afterwards while closing it. "I see ur 2 minuets late for class again"

"2 minuets is nothing so shut up" You assured him. "Hm he's really acting like nothing happened yesterday" You thought while crossing your arms.

"So I heard a rumor about you and Mitsuki" he said while placing his hands on the desk and squeezing his pencil

"What?! What rumor?!" You started to panic a little but you tired to act casual

Shikadai snapped his pencil in half for squeezing to hard out of anger. "Stop pretending like you don't know anything! Your just making yourself look dumb!" He yelled

"What the fuck is wrong with you!!" You closed your eyes tightly and clinched your fist. You knew what you were about to say was harsh but your anger took the best of you and said it anyway. "WHY CANT YOU JUST ACCEPT THAT FACT THAT I LIKE MITSUKI AND NOT YOU!!" You said harshly

The whole class gasped. Mitsuki was confused after hearing his name. Students also glanced at mitsuki then back at you and shikadai.

You quickly regretted what you said. "I...I'm sorry I didn-"

"JUST FORGET IT IM DONE!!" He bit his lip and ran out the class room

"Shikadai wait!!" You ran towards the door then felt someone grab your shoulder.

"Just let him be it's not worth it" boruto said with a serious expression

"I guess your right.." You mumbled

You were lucky that shino was late even though it's his responsibility to arrive first than the students.

"I'm sorry I'm late students some things came up. Anyway please go back to your seats" shino said while nervously sweating

"Mm I wonder what took him so long" You thought curiously

For the rest of the day shikadai never came back to the class room. He probably skipped school and ran past teachers. His mom is scary when she's angry so I wonder what there gonna think if he randomly came home. You also never felt so much regret in your life. You hated yourself for that. He liked you and you never thought about his feelings but yet you felt like it wasn't your fault and he should've just accepted the fact that you don't have feelings for him.

Time skip

It was time to go home. You walked with boruto and you were honestly irritated because he asked you so much questions about mitsuki.

"Since when were you two a thing hmm??" He teased

you blushed and punched his shoulder. "Shut up your annoying"
