•Chapter Fourteen

Your father thought it was best for you to go to the hospital, he was frustrated about you being sick all the time.

As you guys got there, you started to wonder if you were pregnant. But in the same time it didn't make sense to you because mitsuki and you just had sex. The symptoms of pregnancy shouldn't occur that quickly. Right?

time skip

You waited patiently on the hospital bed. You started to get lost in your thoughts but quickly snapped back into reality when you saw Shizune walk in with a clipboard.

Shizune walks towards you as she continued flipping back the pages on the board. "You won't mind if I check your blood pressure, will you?"

"No. I don't mind"

You raised your arm up as she began to wrap it. After a few minutes she checked the results and wrote on the paper as she stood up.

"Good news or bad news?" Shizune asked with a slightly worried look.

You thought about it and thought you should go with the bad news right away. You just wanted to know what was wrong with you and get it all over with.

"I wanna hear the bad news"

Shizune looks down at the clipboard as she spoke. "You have food poisoning. You seemed to have all the symptoms of food poisoning as well"

Your eyes widen. "Food poisoning? How did I get food poisoning?!"

Shizune sat next to you as she began to explain. "Food poisoning can be caused by food contaminated with bacteria, viruses, parasites or toxins. Do you remember what you could've ate this morning or in the afternoon?"

You looked down as you tried to remember what you ate during the day, but you began to realize you haven't really eaten all day. The only thing you ate was breakfast and after eating those pancakes that's when you started to feel sick.

You looked up at Shizune with a confused look. "Pancakes wouldn't cause food poisoning, right?"

"Yes actually, pancakes have eggs that posses salmonella which can sometimes cause food poisoning if not cooked right"

"The pancakes seemed like they were cooked right when I ate them though"

Shizune sighed as she rested her thumb on her chin and began to think. "Maybe the pancake mix past the expiration date"

Your eyes lowered. "Yeah. Probably" You muttered

Shizune looked at you strangely for a moment. "Is something wrong?"

"It's nothing. I'm just tired of getting sick all the time"

Shizune narrowed her eyes. "Hmm, that's strange"

You turn away from her awkwardly when she started to look at you head to toe. Mainly at your stomach.

"Can I ask you something?" Shizune asked in a low voice as she leaned close to you.

You started to get uncomfortable. You felt like she knows something and because of that you wanted to leave as soon as possible.

"I-I'm sorry Shizune but I think I should go" you stuttered as you speed walk towards the door.

Shizune grabs your wrist. Preventing you from walking any further.

"Your making it too obvious now" she murmured with a serious look.

You began to feel a bit heated. You angrily spun your wrist away from her tight grip and looked at her unpleasantly.

"What do you think your doing?!" You growled

Shizune crosses her arms."Is this really food poisoning? Or is this something else?"

"What are you trying to say??"

Shizune walks around you slowly in circles as she explained. "The symptoms you had were lightheadedness, weakness, nausea, stomach cramps and vomiting. All the symptoms women can also tend to have if there pregnant"

You paused in shock for a moment as you looked down. "So your assuming I'm pregnant?" You muttered.

Shizune looked at you unpleasantly when she noticed how angry you were getting. She completely ignores your question. "Have you been sexually active with anyone lately?"

You gave her a look of annoyance as you ignored her.

She sighed while not getting a answer, but she still continued on with the swarm of questions.

"Who have you had sexual intercourse with?"

You gritted your teeth. Getting angrier with each question. Your obviously not gonna answer none of them anyway so why is she even trying?

"Have you had unprotected sex?"

You had enough. You clinched your hand into an fist. "SHUT UP! NO I HAVEN'T HAD SEX WITH ANYONE AND EVEN IF I DID ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!" You snapped

Shizune was shocked.

You glared her. You walk towards the door and slam it on your way out.

"Wait!" Shizune yelled as she followed you out the door.

You took a glance and noticed Shizune following you. You quickly dashed through the hallways and ran out the exit of the building.

You saw your father outside waiting. You Run towards him and jump into his arms.

"What did the nurses say?" He questioned

"One of the nurses told me I have food poisoning, but I'm fine it should go away I'm a few days" you said as you both began to walk home.

Time skip

Once you both arrive, you quickly run up stairs and shut yourself in your room. Your father noticed your strange behavior but didn't think much of it.

You drop yourself on your bed and covered yourself with your blanket.

"Stupid Shizune! I'm not pregnant who does she think she is?! Pregnancy symptoms shouldn't even occur this quickly anyway! It was probably just food poisoning, tch!" You said to yourself over and over again.

You look out your window which was near your bed and tuned out, slowly getting lost in your thoughts like always.

When you snapped at Shizune it oddly reminded you of the time you yelled at Shikadai. You haven't seen him for a while and haven't heard from him since.

You frowned as you covered your face with your bed sheets. "I wonder how Shikadai is doing.." You said to yourself.
