•Chapter Seven

"Shikadai........." You mumbled

You heard slight footsteps behind you, you turned and saw mitsuki walking towards you

He sighed "I saw everything, I never thought he had feelings for you"

You tilt your head "I know...I never noticed though" it was quiet for a moment, you felt mitsuki's arm wrap around your shoulder and got close to your ear.

"It's okay let's forget about him, it's only going to be me and you forever" he whispered

You felt a shiver go down your spine, you slowly turned to him, you started to get nervous when you saw how close he was to your lips, you closed your eyes and felt his lips press between yours

"(Y/N)!!?? Mitsuki!!!!??"

"Big sister!??"

You knew those familiar voice's anywhere, Mitsuki and you flinched and quickly turned to the direction you both heard your name from, you panicked when you saw it was your dad, he gave both of you an unpleasant look while having his arms crossed. Your sister was shocked but then began to hold in her laughter while putting her palm over her mouth.

"Dad!! I-it's not what it looks like!" You said nervously

"What do you mean it's not what it look's like!? I literally saw everything!" He hissed

"Let me expl-" before you can even finish your sentence your dad grabbed your wrist and squeezed it tightly.

"I was only gone for a few minuets while picking up your sister and this is what I come back home too!?" He yelled while pulling you inside

he then pushed you inside and slammed the door so you wouldn't come back out. You quickly ran to the window and saw him talking to mitsuki. "Oh no this is bad!" you thought while shaking.

"Big sister I never thought mitsuki and you were dating?" She said while cocking her head

You turned to her and blushed. "WHAT N-NO IT WASNT LIKE THAT!.....I didn't even know he was going to kiss me today" you got upset and ran upstairs to your room.

You got on your bed covering your self with your bed sheets, after a few minutes you heard your door open you already knew it was your dad so you sighed

"I just talked finished talking to mitsu-"

You sighed irritatingly "I didn't even know it was gonna happen okay!? He just kissed me! I never told him too!" You yelled

"Let me finish! I had a talk with him and he said sorry but he told me how much he really liked you"

After that last statement you quickly perked up "r-really??! He straight up told you that?!"

He then crossed his arms "Yes. He wasn't even scared, he seems like he doesn't even express himself. All I ever see him do is smile."

You slightly blushed "ugh this day was so weird! I never even thought I was going to have trouble with boys!" You thought, you then started to think of Shikadai

"Dad can I go to Shikadai's house? I need to talk to him about something"

"It's already getting late though"

"Please! I won't take long I swear!"

He sighed "fine but if you take to long I'm going to check up on you"

You put your sweater and shoes on then left, when you finally arrived in his front porch you took a deep breath then knocked. After a few seconds of waiting the door finally opened, it was temari.

"Uhh hi temari..is Shikadai here?"

Temari gave you a serious look "hmm yea I'll call him"

She closed the door while you waited for a few minutes, you started to get nervous so you fidgeted with your fingers. You heard the door opened and slowly turned to see Shikadai.

Shikadai closed his eyes and sighed. "What do you want?"

"Shikadai I'm sorry! To be honest I don't even know what I did! Why are you even mad at me?!" You tilt your head towards the Ground

"Mitsuki" he mumbled

"What? Look if your gonna talk in a low voice then imma just leave I always wast-"

"ITS MITSUKI OKAYY!! EVER SINCE YOU GUYS STARTED TALKING I HATED EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM!!" He yelled

"But why??? He didn't even do anything for you to be mad at him!"

"Well ever since you guys became friends weird things have been happening to you!! Can't you just agree with me for once that he could be behind the missing people or those weird cuts you got on your stomach?!" He hissed

You sighed "we don't know that for sure okay?!" You said while crossing your arms "look...Ever since you threw those roses at me and now that I know you have feelings for me I don't know how else to talk or interact with you..."

"Yea I know..." he said while rubbing his head

"If you liked me why didn't you just tell me before until now?"

"Because you told me you like mitsuki remember?" He said with a sad tone in his voice
