"So what are your resolutions for the new year?" You asked Joel who is telepathically pretty much your boyfriend now..
"I don't have any." Joel stated. "I really don't see the point in making any since no one sticks to theirs, or they forget about them 1 day later."
Well..he's technically not wrong.
Then I decided to challenge him..
"Maybe you could try..being more nice this year? You kno-"
He laughed very loudly cutting me off..and he began to sing and dance..
"You're joking, you're joking!! I can't believe my E A R S. someone shut her up, I'm drowning in my own tears!!" He sang.
"I mean the smile on the Mau5 head would match your attitude and maybe you won't hated as much..?" You proposed..
But he just kept singing and dancing which was starting to get a little weird since he never does stuff like this.. at all
"It's funny, I'm laughing!! You really are too much
And now, with your permission, I'm going to do my stuff" Joel said while getting rather close to me
Ok what is going on..I know it's dreamland and anything could happen..but this was too out of the ordinary.
"Uhhhhhhh" that's was all I could muster out
"Dude Y/N you're supposed to say" "what are you going to do?" And then I say "I'm going to do the best I can." Joel frustratingly said. While going to sit on a tree stump with a pouty look on his face.
OMG NOW I REMEMBER!! He was singing the oggie boogiee song from nightmare before Christmas..(if you didn't get the reference by now..)
"Ooohhh.. now I remember..I'm sorry dude..I was just dumbfounded because of the singing and dancing.." you laughed.
"Meh." Joel said "I just want this day to be over so we can go into the new year. And hope that this year won't be oblivion.."
"You know what...same here."
"And also something else is coming up..." Joel said while looking at you.
Wait..what was coming up?? I don't know what it is..
"Really what is it??" You said eager for his response
"My birthday!!" He said happily
THAT'S RIGHT!! his birthday is coming up!!
"Are you excited?!" You happily asked him.
"Yeah" he said returning the mood "I'll be one more year closer to death!!"
Ok..That's one way of looking at it..at least he's excited..
Happy New years eve!! Here is another chapter..I know this one doesn't make a lot of sense, but hey something is better than nothing. Lol. But seriously..go have a happy New year..you deserve it. :)
