A few months later..
*your POV*
"Joel!! J O E L!! I'm here!!" It's been a few months after Joel told me about the power of the ring he gave me. And it seems whenever I come here he's always hiding trying to scare me...
So here I am..walking around with his hockey puck of a cat trying to find this overly sarcastic yet playful mau5 dude.. not to mention...it's cold as heck out here since its winter and all I'm wearing is a f/c jacket.
By then it was around this time that I took in my surroundings..everything was covered in Christmas decorations, from the trees, to the cemetery gates right to the gravestones..I must say..I'm oddly impressed.
Ok now I'm getting impatient..I swear if he tries anythi-

Joel's POV (finally)
I was hiding and watching Y/n as she walked with meowingtons and it seems whenever I look at her..I can't stop.. creepy as hell I know.
But it something about her that intrigued me. The way she moved, talked, views things and not to mention she's not afraid to tell me off. Which is cool and everything, but I just don't know for sure if she feels the same way.. probably not..I mean I can't say that I blame her..
But she's coming closer..now's the time to scare her.. So I just did what I usually do and snuck up on her you know..as quiet as a..mau5 ( ok I'll stop)
And I just yelled.. "HI F R I E N D"
..but instead of her screaming..I just got slapped..and my God she can slap.. as I was holding my face in everlasting agony..
"O W WHAT THE FUCK Y/N!!??" I Groaned...
"How many times have I told you not to sneak up on me??!" She spat back. "You know I get scared easily!"
" YoU knOw I gEt ScAreD EasILy!!" I said..mocking her tone.
"You have been coming to see me for how long and you are still not used to me scaring you??!!
she looked away flustered af.. That's how I know I won.
"Anyway I'm here so what did you want to show me??"
Y/n said with her tone softened.
I smiled hopefully this is going to work..and hopefully I don't get slapped again.
*Your POV*
Ok....he's smiling so that's not good.. is it?? With Joel you could never tell.. he stood up and took my hand and started to lead me towards the trees, but then he stopped..
"Close your eyes." He said
"Why?" I replied
"Just do it." He said a little annoyed.. "and no peeking." He added.
So I did.. and we started walking again..a few minutes later we stopped..
"Ok..you can open you eyes now." He suddenly said.
So I opened them and to my surprise..I was under a tree and he was standing in front of me.
Ok..I'm confused I tried looking around until he said this..
"Look up dummy." I did and I saw not one not two but almost 30 mistletoes hanging from various branches..
"Where did you get this many mistletoes??" I asked him..
And I heard him chuckle..the HE proceeds to say THIS:
"Don't ask questions that you aren't prepared to handle the answers to.." he says with a sly smile..
Wait..does this mean...
I can feel my cheeks burning..he wants to kiss me...
He looks away appearing to be almost as shy as I was..
So I stepped closer to him.."Joel..you did this..for me??"
I quietly said.
"Well obviously.." he said. He is now looking at me with those mousy brown eyes..staring right into mine..
Then he starts to lean in and so do I..
We kissed and it was l..amazing.. I had always dreamed of this moment. And it's a bit ironic since I was in a dream.. but it didn't matter all that matters now..is the kiss.
We pulled apart and I slowly opened my eyes..
"Merry Christmas..Y/N" Joel quietly said..
I smiled.."Merry Christmas to you too Joel.."
This..to me..was the perfect Christmas..
