Chapter 8

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off on my phone. You know sometimes I really hate alarm clocks and sometimes they are the best things ever.

To day I'm taking Crystal to get a dog. I don't know what kind of dog so I'm just going to let her chose.

I get out of bed and head to the bathroom to take a shower. When I get out I go into my closet to find something to wear. I got out some black jeans, a wool sweater crop top and my white converse. After I get dressed I blow dry my hair then wave it. Then I do a layer or two of mascara and eye shadow and some eyeliner.

I walk out of my room and head toward Crystal's room.

When I get to her room I open the door slowly and peek my my head in to see if she was still asleep. I saw her still wrapped up in her blanket. I open the door and walk up to the edge of her bed.

"Crystal time to wake up I have a surprise for you." I said shaking her lightly. She groans and sits up.
"Were we going." She asks while she rubs he eyes.

"I can't tell you it wouldn't be a surprise then now would it." I ask her and she just shakes her head. "Come on let's get you dressed." I say grabbing her and and she jumps of her bed. I walk over to her closest and pull out her white and blue button up shirt her ripped jeans and she puts on her white converse too. After getting her dressed I put her hair in a bun.

On the way out the door I grab my phone of the charger and grab my purse. Crystal grabs her favorite sunglasses and we walk out the door.

When we get to the car I put Crystal in her seat and start the car.

After about 20 minutes of driving we finally get to the Rescue Center. You could tell that it was a dog rescue center because there was a big pen full of different dogs.

"Mommy look puppies!!" Crystal yelled as she jumped a little in her set.
"Ya do you want one." I asked her
"Of course I want one!" She said as I unbuckled her and she jumped out of the car and ran over to the edge of the gate with the dogs behind it.

I walked over to a lady who was standing over by the gates.

"Hi are we aloud to go inside the pen and see all the dogs?" I asked her.

"Of course just come to me when you find the dog or dogs you would like to take home and I will give you there information." She said I nodded and told her thank you and walked up to Crystal took her hand and opened the gate.

"Come on we can go play with the puppies." I told her. She clapped and ran through the gate and started to play with all the puppies.

After about an hour and a half of playing with all the dog, I know I know that's a long time, but you just can't got to a rescue center and not stay for longer than 30 minutes.

Anyways I decided that we would get 2 dogs. I look over to see Crystal has been playing with the same two dog the whole time we've been here. So I think those are the two we are going to get.

After I told the lady the 2 dog we wanted, she gave us their information. She also gave us 2 dog kennels, food and water bowls, and 2 bags of dog food.

The dogs we got where a Rottweiler and a Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix. Neither of them had names because they were just puppies. I made a deal with Crystal that I get to name one dog and she can name the other.

For the Rottweiler I decided the name Salvatore and for the Australian Border Collie Crystal decided on the name Sofia, because her favorite show is Sofia the First.

As we walk to the car Crystal asked,
"Can we go to the store and get some toys for the puppies?" She asked begging.

"Sure" I said as I got her buckled. After I get the dogs and put them in the passenger set next to me.

It takes us about 10 minutes to get to the store. I park my car and walk around to get Crystal out of her seat. I put her down. We walk over to the passenger seat and grab the dogs. We had to carry them because we didn't have a leash or colliers for them.

When we walk in I grab Sofia from Crystal and grab a basket.

"Here you can get 4 toys for each dog and pick a collier for Sofia ok." I told Crystal as I hand her the basket.

"Ok what are you going to do?" She asked tilting her head a little.

"I'm going to got get a collier for Salvatore and some other stuff for the both of them." I say.

"Wait where is all that stuff?" She asked tilting her head again.

I pointed behind her and she slowly turned around.

"Ohhh!" She said laughing a little.
I just laughed at her. We where down the same aisle in the store so I could keep an eye on her.

I needed to get a lot of thing for the dogs. I have to get Salvatore a collier, I need to get both of them a leash, I need to get them beds for there kennels, food bowls, and some training treats.

10 minutes later I pull up into the driveway.

I get out of the car, get Crystal out of her seat and hand her the dogs. I had put their leashes and colliers on them. Crystal chose a purple with rhinestones on it for Sofia. I chose a black collier with spikes on it for Salvatore.

After I give the dogs to Crystal she walks inside and I head over to to my the trunk of my truck.

While I was grabbing the bags I hear someone walk up to me.

"Hey what's all this for?" Carder asked.

"I took Crystal to get dogs today and this is all the stuff for them." I told him.

"Cool, need some help?" He asked. I just nodded.

He grabbed the kennels and the beds and followed me inside.

He helped me set up all their stuff.

After we finished setting up I ordered pizza.

All of a sudden I hear the door bell ring.

"I got it" Carter said. I followed behind him to the door.

He opened to the door and the pizza man stands there holding 2 pizzas.

I was about to hand him the money when Carter said,
"I got it, just go find some movies that me can watch." He said. I nodded and mouthed 'thank you' to him to him.

I run over to the couch and grab my realllllly soft blanket.

Carter and I ate some pizza and now we are watching some random movies.

I could feel my self getting really sleepy. My head started to fall.

All of a sudden an Carder wrapped his arm around me. I looked up and smiled at him. I laid my head down on his lap and he played with my hair, I love it when people play with my hair.

I felt my eyes start to close and 2 minutes later I fell asleep with Salvatore up to my chest and Carter was petting Sofia as she slept next to him.
