New Years Eve

"Do you think the place looks ready?" Y/n's ask, anxiety filling her voice. Me and Vic helped her finish decorating a while ago before Vic left. "Yes, Y/n, it looks great." I say, I want to complement her but I don't. "A-are you sure?" She ask again, for the third time in the past twenty øne minutes. "Yes." I voice cracks in a high pitched tone and hurts my throat. I sound like I'm lying. "Really? Really really?" I sigh in frustration. "Yes, now go sit down." I demand.

She smirks slightly as I push her to the living room and on the couch. I fall back next to her. Are shoulders are touching, but I don't move. "Now we wait for the others to get here." She sighs and stands up then walks over to a large speaker. She turns on some music, starting with New Years Day by Black Veil Brides. "I'm supporting a friend." She says as she walks over to me and grabs my hand then pulls me up. "Lets dance." She says.

I hold her left hand in my right and raise it above her head and spin her. We dance until the song ends and she quickly changes it to Kids In The Dark by All Time Low when suddenly there's a knock at the door. I answer it to find Andy, Vic, Oli, and Alex are there. "Sup dude." Andy says as I move out of their way to come in and close the door behind them.

A hand stops me from closing the door all the way, causing me to re-open it. The rest of my band, along with everyone else's stands outside. I greet them and they all come in. "Yo." Jack says as he passes me. I chuckle slightly.

"Yay, eveeyone's here and its 11:30. We should start the fireworks!" Y/n's says. She turns off the music while everyone goes out the back door into the back yard.
