Chapter 3

Justin lights the last few firework with Jack. "Ready! Ten, nine, eight." Everyone starts counting down to midnight except for me and Y/n. My hand rest on top of hers and we stare into each others eyes. "Five, four, three." Without paying attention, the space between us becomes smaller and smaller. "Two, one." Soon as they say one, the gal between me and Y/n becomes no more as I kiss her softly. I pull away soon as the fireworks stop.
My lips linger close to hers. I can feel her breaths on my top lip. "Aww~ how cute." Vic teases. I look away from Y/n and glare at Vic. "Oh, stop, you know its true." He says. I laugh and look back at Y/n. "I love you." I whisper and stand up from my seat, only hearing her say "I love you" back, quietly.

"Aren't you going to go home?" Justin ask before entirety leaving. "Yeah, later. I'm goings to stay and help Y/n clean up." I assure him. He nods and walks off the porch to his car. I close the front door and face Y/n as she yawns. "Go to bed, I'll clean up." I say.
She shakes her head no. "I won't unless you come with me, Kellin." She says. I try to hold back a smoke and I walk behind her and put my hands know her shoulders. "Okay." I say and push her down a hallway to her room.
I walk in and close the door behind me. Y/n goes to the bed and gets under the covers. I get in know the opposite side of the bed also under the covers. She yawns, causing me to yawn after her. I wrap my arm around her waist.
"Happy new year, Kells. Goodnight." She says quietly. I pull her closer to me. "Goodnight, Y/n." I say and kiss her shoulder gently. We both soon fall into a deep sleep.
