Thursday afternoon.
Why do all computer science teachers have to be so boring. This is like the sixth time I'm yawning my eyes out. Yesterday at the parking lot the boys were being overly dramatic. The car tyres were down, all our plans cancelled so we had to walk home.Today is just plain boring and Brie isn't helping out considering she is the only one I know.
The boys don't have computer class with me all in chemistry lab testing out new experiments.
Brie is situated in front of me,close to the window at the middle row seat as usual no guess there. I keep on peering at her but her midnight dark locks seems to be the only thing in my line of sight staring right back undaunted. How do I seek these girl's attention?
Normally they look for my attention not the other way.
So I guess am kinda used to that method. But how...
How?
How?!
How?!!
Something went on in my head like a light bulb appearing on top my head. I clicked my fingers. Ha...ha I should have thought of that sooner.
I glanced around to make sure no ones paying attention towards me,the teacher has his back turned doing whatever which is perfect.
I tore a piece of my still new book since I felt too lazy to fill it up with notes.
A sense of warmth filled my heart making it jump a beat or two, I can't wait to look into her eyes.I grin, crumpled the paper then threw it directly on her head.
It hit home landing with a soft thud.
First instinct, open the paper, read whatever gibberish is written and try to spot the offender with a deep scowl.
Except that isn't what happened. especially when I wrote nothing on the sheet.
Brie didn't so much as get startled or open the sheet not to talk of turning around to glare at the offender.Nothing!
Which draws me to a conclusion either she's being oblivious or she's totally unaware.
I shrug maybe its the latter.
I try again.
Still....nothing.
Maybe the paper ain't thick enough.
Yes that must be it. Third time is always the charm.
With that I rolled together a lot of sheets and tossed not so gently at her. I waited for any kind of reaction
for a whole two hours....more like five seconds but it felt like decades as I awaited her response. These is new.
I glance at the teacher again to be sure he's still busy. Which he is,yes am safe.
I brought my attention back to the main target and fired.
And by fired I mean rapidly threw papers at her until half of the book was gone.
Oh this girl knows what she's doing. Playing dumb. Her desk is filled with wrapped papers. My papers and if the teacher gets to know I'm in for detention for sure.
I leaned down on the table resting my head on top of my folded arm and sighed heavily. Puffing out air. Inhaling exhaling,my lips pouty in the process.'Would you put a sulk on it. I'm trying to work here, stupid'.
Brie hiss with barely contained anger. What!
Is she speaking to me.
Nah...
I doubt it should be her partner.I inhaled deeply and exhaled making a bit of a noise.
'Would you stop. Crap!'.
Brie turns with a deep deep scowl and dagger eyes all directed on me.If glares could kill am pretty much sure I'd be six feet under.
I rose my head and hands up.' Sorry are you referring to me?'.
I just had to ask because of my uncertainty.
What made her bulge?'Of course. I forgot I'm dealing with a stupid kid'. She mutters.
I open my mouth in protest but close it again when she spoke.
'Crap. Stop breathing down on me its disgusting'.She gave one last stink eye then returned her undivided focus to the screen of the computer.
Are you serious. My papers didn't get you to look back but my breathing did. Why didn't I think of that first before I tore half a page of my still new and mint book but she had to be mean about it.
